Due to the course’s heavy rain, racing on the final day of the Isle of Man TT was delayed by more than seven hours.
Due to the delays, Saturday’s Blue Riband Senior event has been reduced from its six-lap Mountain Course schedule to four, which will begin at 19:00 BST.
Gary Thompson, the course clerk, explained the protracted delay and the race’s lengthy delay, noting that the race would not be moved to Sunday’s emergency session due to the shorter road closure times and bad weather forecast.

The 37.7 miles (61 km) of public roads are used for the 118-year-old TT races, with modern competitors completing lap times of more than 130 mph (209 km/h).
