A few more plays from the sport’s biggest stars will be shown in the NFL during the second week of pre-season, as well as more reps for our bright rookie sensations.

We also had some more insight into who the top teams will be, as well as suggestions for who might do well in the upcoming campaign.

Jeanty, a rookie for Raiders, looks like a real deal.

According to his bruising appearance for the Las Vegas Raiders against the San Francisco 49ers, rookie running back Ashton Jeanty could pose a significant threat to opposing defenses this season.

The sixth-round draft pick limped off after taking a big hit, but he made it back to score a touchdown and show off his talent with a brutal 13-yard rush that saw him outshine two potential tacklers.

Jeanty has a physical similarity to Marshawn Lynch’s, and his quarterback, Geno Smith, yelled, “He’s going to be a special player.”

In New York, dart hype grows.

With another eye-catching performance for the New York Giants rookie quarterback, Jaxson Dart is quickly becoming the talk of the pre-season.

Russell Wilson’s veteran quarterback was replaced by Dart midway through the Giants’ impressive pre-season, which also included a passing and rushing touchdown.

Without star receiver Malik Nabers, who is likely to miss all three of the pre-season games with a back injury, the Giants’ offense is even more impressive.

Ward’s top pick hints at his level of ability

Cam Ward, the No. 1 overall pick, completed only two passes for 42 yards while also displaying much more promise than the stats suggest.

He completed the run with a nice 35-yard completion, which was possibly his best pre-season throw, but it was dropped by receiver Van Jefferson.

Although Ward missed a few throws, the pre-season is all about displaying promise, and Jefferson’s one throw alone gave Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan confidence that his player could influence the NFL.

In the Bears victory, Williams appears sharp.

Caleb Williams looked fantastic in his first pre-season action for the Chicago Bears, who won 38-0 with a shutout victory against the Buffalo Bills back-ups.

Williams started off strong, leading a 97-yard touchdown run with a flawless quarterback rating of 158.3.

Sanders is hurt, Gabriel gets his shot, and Gabriel gets his shot.

The situation with the Cleveland Browns quarterback intriguing, with rookie Dillon Gabriel getting a chance to shine alongside Shedeur Sanders after making a strong debut last week but being injured this week.

Gabriel had a mixed performance, throwing a pick six and losing a fumble with 13 of his 143 yards.

The third-round pick started well but struggled when forced to change the script, leaving head coach Kevin Stefanski with more questions than answers.

NFL pre-season notebook

Travis Hunter was ruled out of the 17-17 game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New Orleans Saints due to what the team claims was an upper body injury.

Since Hunter was expected to increase his defensive work this year, it will be disappointing to miss the game.

After two muddling performances by Joe Milton, the Dallas Cowboys may be looking for a new quarterback to replace Dak Prescott.

Dallas may have to look into the market for another backup because they weren’t interested in their other option, Will Grier, and they hoped Milton could show more.

Denver’s Jarrett Stidham, who added two touchdowns to the Broncos’ impressive pre-season, is one back-up who can play.
