Singer Rachel Stevens celebrated her ‘copy and paste’ lookalike daughter’s 15th birthday with a sweet Instagram post where she said life is a ‘learning journey’ for them both
Rachel Stevens took to her social media to share a heartfelt message for her daughter’s 15th birthday, as fans claim she is a ‘copy and paste’ of her famous mum. On Sunday, Rachel said life is a ‘learning journey’ for them both as she expressed how proud she was of Amelie.
The singer, 47, shared a sweet carousel of images with her daughter as she wrote: “15 today! What can I say Ams. Firstly… If I’m honest, I could really do with a guide book to help me out when it comes to these teen age years… You definitely keep me on my toes!”
Rachel, who is also a proud mum to Minnie,11, from her first marriage to Alex Bourne, added: “You’ve always been so full of energy, so full of spirit and so determined and I know that that is going to take you so far in life. Creative, sensitive, curious, adventurous, resilient, loving, caring, quirky and funny with a voice like an angel.”

She finished off the heartfelt post with: “Navigating life together is not always easy but it’s definitely an adventure and a learning journey for us both. Being your mum has taught me so much and I’m excited for us to keep learning and growing alongside each other.
“Happy birthday my darling girl. I hope this year is your best one yet and that your wishes and dreams come true always. Love you with all my heart”.
Followers rushed to send their birthday wishes, with many pointing out how similar the mother-daughter duo looked. One person wrote: “Happy birthday gorgeous Amelie. You’re doing amazingly Rach”, while another added: “she is your double”.
A third added: “God really said ‘copy and paste’”, while another added: “Happy birthday gorgeous girl! You look just like your mumma”. “Happy Birthday, you look like twins”, another said.
The birthday post follows after Rachel revealed she is “still grieving” and sometimes wants to “hide under the duvet and cry” three years after the end of her marriage.
The S Club 7 star split from Alex Bourne in 2022 after 13 years of marriage and Rachel was hit with more heartbreak recently, as her years-long relationship with Brendyn Hatfield ended as well.
Rachel was candid in a podcast chat where she shared how much the end of both relationships affected her. “I went from being married into another long relationship. I don’t know if I actually fully grieved the loss of my marriage.
“Some days you feel empowered. Other days, you just want to cry under the duvet and hide,” Rachel said on HELLO!’s Second Act podcast. It is sad and obviously, we feel things ourselves, but we feel them for our kids as well.”
She added that she struggled with “mummy guilt” during the divorce and worried about how her daughters would be affected by not only the end of their parents’ marriage but their father’s wedding to someone else.
