Can you identify what makes Queen Camilla’s beauty appearance different?

Queen Camilla celebrated her 78th birthday last week, and we’re wondering if she gifted herself a beauty treatment for the occasion– one that’s seemingly inspired by her step-daughter-in-law, Princess Kate. Eagle-eyed Royal fans have spotted a change to Camilla’s usual beauty look, and it’s helping to give her a youthful appearance.

The alteration Her brows. Camilla’s brows appear darker and more defined than they do in photos taken this month, which raises the possibility that she may have turned to a well-known treatment to achieve long-lasting results.

Karen Betts, a renowned authority on permanent make-up, explains: “To the trained eye, it appears Queen Camilla may have had a machine-based brow tattoo. The defined, darker look is typical just after treatment—brows usually soften in colour and shape within 7 to 10 days.”

She continues, “To the trained eye, it does seem that Queen Camilla may have had a machine-based method of eyebrow tattooing,” although I can’t confirm with certainty whether she has recently undergone a permanent make-up procedure. The brows appear quite defined and darker than usual, which is typical in the days immediately following treatment. This initial intensity is entirely normal, and brows typically soften as they age, gradually shifting to a lighter, more natural-looking shade.

Queen Camilla may have chosen a different eyebrow pencil, or perhaps she has chosen a tint to get a darker shade, but it’s true that she has had her eyebrows changed recently, and she is not the first royal to create a stir with a new beauty look.

You might recall Princess Kate’s alleged tattoo brow treatment in 2021, which sparked rumors about what she used to thicken and make her arches appear younger. The prevailing theory at the time was that she might have tried brow lamination, which involves applying chemical solutions to the hairs to be brushed up, but this was never proven.

However, beauty experts generally concurred that Kate had a younger appearance when wearing bushier brows. Karen claims that “a slightly lifted arch, rather than a flat or overly straight brow, can open up the eye area, give the face a more refreshed effect, and create a natural, youthful lift.”

She goes on to say that having well-defined brows transforms. They frame the eyes, restore facial balance, and subtly lift the features, frequently giving the impression of a more youthful and well-rested appearance without the need for more in-depth medical treatment.
