The Principal of Government Day Secondary School, Kirfi, Musa Ahmed Ningi, has been ordered by the Bauchi State Teachers’ Service Commission to be fired immediately after receiving complaints of gross misconduct.
He was fired as principal, along with Malam Adamu Shehu, the senior master, for conspiring with him to steal school property.
This is stated in a statement from Dahiru Adamu, the commission’s information officer, on Thursday.
32 abandoned student beds, nine Jumbo aluminum pots, and an undated supply of roofing zinc were all sold, according to him.

A four-man committee that conducted the investigation determined that both officials had been found guilty of the allegations in accordance with Adamu’s claim that their removal was made public by a statement signed by Garba Muhammad Bashe, the commission’s overseeing Permanent Secretary.
Both staff members have been removed from administrative positions and have been assigned to different schools to teach in classrooms.
The two officers were also given the additional instruction to pay back 597,000 Naira, the assessed value of the items sold.
Additionally, the committee also advises that the former principal pay the school’s casual employees’ payment of 72 thousand Naira.
