Next week, the Prince and Princess of Wales will celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary on Mulll Island in Scotland, where they have already reserved some unplanned lodging.

The Prince and Princess of Waleses’ 14th wedding anniversary plans have been revealed – and they will spending it in an unexpected location. The pair will be spending the big day by staying in self-catering cottage on a Scottish island during a two-day work trip.

William and Kate will travel back to the country where they fell in love for a two-day visit meeting craftspeople, farmers and residents on the Isle of Mull, off Scotland ’s west coast. The couple were married at Westminster Abbey on April 29 2011, with the eyes of the world watching the future king and queen.

After a day of formal engagements, they are likely to have a romantic dinner for two on Tuesday for dinner. However, who will cook at their private cottage is still a mystery.

William and Kate met at the University of St Andrews in Fife and became friends first before embarking on a romance. Two years after their wedding the couple had their first child, Prince George, then Princess Charlotte in 2015 and Prince Louis in 2018, and it appears their relationship remains strong after Kate’s cancer treatment.

One of the many Scottish titles William inherited from his father when Charles became King and William the heir to the throne is that the Isle of Mull belongs to a region that was once ruled by the Lord of the Isles.

When in Scotland William and Kate are officially known by their Scottish titles, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, and they will begin their visit on Tuesday in the town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, where the popular BBC children’s TV series Balamory was filmed.

The couple will tour the Tobermory Producers Market, which is coordinated by the hall at Tobermory Harbour, sampling produce and meeting the creators and makers at a nearby hall that serves as a community hub. They will also go to a West Coast croft and restaurant, meet Hebridean sheep raised there, and assist in selecting garden produce for the menu.

William and Kate will also meet Ardura Acorns, an early years outdoor learning playgroup that includes nature trails, den-building, and animal tracking, and meet Mull and Iona Ranger Service countryside rangers from the Mull and Iona Ranger Service at the Ardura Community Forest. The visit aims to highlight the value of safeguarding and promoting the environment.

After their Easter break, William and Kate spent time with their kids at home. They and the rest of the Firm at Windsor Castle skipped the royals’ traditional Easter Sunday service.

According to a source, the Prince of Wales informed the King that he would like to “enjoy some extended time as a family over Easter.” The source continued, “They are choosing to spend time together as a family before the children return to school.”

After spending Easter at their Norfolk home at Amner Hall, it has since been revealed that they had spent Easter at Sandringham’s church. After the church service, the family was spotted receiving hot crosses.
