Shoppers ‘obsessed’ with the ‘viral’ cardigan are loving the new colour
Primark’s viral cardigan is back in a ‘stunning’ pink shade. The retailer’s £20 Essential Knitted Bomber is something of a social media sensation, regularly going viral when Primark introduces new colourways.
Now, Primark has introduced a ‘baby pink’ option, with one shopper claiming she ‘hit the jackpot’ after finding the style in her local store. Posting on TikTok as @Kia_artistry, the fashion fan told viewers: “Girls, I feel like I hit the Primark Jackpot yesterday. Like, I can’t even wait to show you these.”
She continued: “If you love the Primark knitwear like me, new colours are coming. So I’ve got this cardi in cream and brown already, and I was just walking past the other day, and I saw this pink colour.
“There was just one there on its own, but I’m sure that means more are coming because I’m in Primark a lot and I’ve never seen this pastel pink. They used to have a dusty rose pink, but not this colour pink. And this is like my ideal pink But, yeah, I am literally obsessed. It’s not my size, but I just had to take it anyway because I’m in love.”
The video delighted viewers, racking up 39k views. But Kia wasn’t the only shopper who spotted the new pink style.
Elsewhere, TikTok user @Kaitfearn also found the £20 cardigan in her local store. Praising the new colour, she wrote: “Girls the viral Primark cardigan now comes in baby pink.” In her caption, she added: “Um run if you’re pink obsessed like me.”
The video was just as popular, racking up over 80k views. Responding to both posts, shoppers loved the look of the cardigan. Replying to Kia_artistry’s video, one fashion fan said: “I need that pink colour. I have the dusty rose one already.”
A second reply read: “I need that cardigan.” The shopper replied: “It’s so pretty.” Another viewer agreed: “Gorgeous pink colour.” Someone else said: “Okay I need to RUN for the ballerina pink cardi, the perfect shade ever!!!” and the shopper replied: “Isn’t it stunning?”
Meanwhile, a fan commenting under Kaitfearn’s video said: “another thing I need to feed my shopping addiction with.” Someone else wrote: “NO WAY,” and a fan replied: “Running.”
