As the American singer performed his first show at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Post Malone received praise for his heartfelt tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.
Post Malone kicked off his London shows with a touching tribute to rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. The Prince of Darkness’ death aged 76 sent shockwaves around the world in July when he died just weeks after his farewell concert.
Stars from all over the world have since shared their own unique tributes to the famous person. And as Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, dazzled crowds at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with his masterfully performed renditions of Ozzy’s biggest hits, he also performed some of his real name.
Post wore an Ozzy vest top as she belted out Take What You Want. Ozzy’s signature style and font for his name were both present on the shirt.

The song had previously been attributed to Ozzy himself as having done it as his best work since Sabbath. The music legend’s first top 10 hit in 30 years was achieved with it.
Speaking at the time, Ozzy told The Sun, how eager Post Malone was to get his voice on the track. He said:”I’d never even heard of this kid.
He asked me to sing on his song “Take What You Want,” so I did, and one thing after that became the next. With the assistance of Post Malone’s producer Andrew Watt, I began making new albums. Although there are only nine tracks, it served as a catalyst for my current situation.
Fans of Post were quick to pay their respect to the tribute, too. Among those liking his Instagram upload was YungBlud, who had a close connection with Ozzy.
That’s beautiful, one fan wrote in the comments section. The Ozzy Tribute included flame emoji, hands raising, and “Next Level” music, according to another.
A new documentary on Ozzy’s last years is set for release next month month. In it, his daughter Aimiee gives a rare interview. Ozzy: No Escape From Now will be available to stream from October 7 on Paramount+.
Aimee, Ozzy’s rarely seen daughter, discusses her father’s agonizing battles with ill health in the movie. She did not appear in the TV series The Osbournes and prefers to avoid public view.
The documentary claims to be his “final account” of his final six years. Ozzy, the Black Sabbath legend, disclosed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and that his touring would stop in 2023 as a result of significant spinal surgeries.
In addition, he fell at home in 2019, which worsened his injuries from a 2003 quad bike accident that was nearly fatal.
Aimee recalls how her father’s mishape in 2019 was transformative in the movie. She claimed that she spent weeks in the hospital. His biggest heartache was to fall like that and not be able to bounce back like he did in the past, and then have to halt the tour.
Also, Ozzy says, “If my life is coming to an end, I really can’t complain,” in the movie teaser. My life has been wonderful.
