Police Arrest Three Suspects Over Murder Of Housewife, Six Children In Kano

Three key suspects have been detained by the Kano State Police Command in connection with the horrifying murder of a housewife and her six children in Kano’s Dorayi Chiranchi Quarters.

The arrests came after intelligence-led operations were conducted at the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun’s request, according to a press release from Sunday.

The police commissioner, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, served as the coordinator for the operation.

CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the police’s public relations officer, made it known that the suspects had been detained throughout a nighttime sting operation.

A team of crack agents “reacted on credible intelligence” to find three suspected masterminds of the brutal murder of a housewife and her six children in the Dorayi Chiranchi Quarters, according to Kiyawa.

Umar Auwalu, 23, of Sabuwar Gandu Quarters, Isyaku Yakubu, 40, of Sagagi Quarters, and Wawo Wawo, 21, of Sabon Gida Sharada Quarters, were identified as the suspects.
