Andrea Pirlo, an Italian legend, has been appointed United FC manager in Dubai.
The 46-year-old will start his fourth club since taking over from Juventus in 2020.
After replacing Maurizio Sarri in Turin, Pirlo won the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup, but Juve fired him at the end of the season after finishing fourth in Serie A.
Prior to leaving Sampdoria in August 2024, he spent less than a year with the Turkish side Fatih Karagumruk.
Dubai United and United FC both play in the Pro-League division of the United Arab Emirates.
His arrival for United FC is exciting and reflects the club’s growing ambitions in the UAE football landscape.
