Anyone who may not have grown up with the respect and admiration he has for Donald Trump and the British Royal Family should be reminded by Piers Morgan, a self-described champion of free speech.
Piers Morgan has once again reminded his fans that is he a huge fan of the Royal Family and Donald Trump.
The former Good Morning Britain anchor, 60, took to social media this morning to share snap of the US president and Kate Middleton looking on great terms at a the state banquet last night.
While the rest of Twitter (X) discussed ABC’s decision to suspend Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show over comments the host made about the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk, Morgan used his platform to fawn over royal matters.
A self-described “champion of free speech,” Morgan, who captioned the image of a beaming Trump, 79, gazing at an equally smiley Kate Middleton, 43, read, “laughing emojis.”

The mother-of-four wore a haute couture creation by British designer Phillipa Lepley for the dinner with Trump, which featured a stunning full-length, champagne gold, hand-embroidered Chantilly lace evening coat with a regal-looking high collar and silk crepe gown.
In his banquet speech, Trump made a point of referring to Kate, calling her “so radiant, healthy, and beautiful.” At the banquet table, Kate was seated next to the American leader, who was seen smiling up at him as he delivered his speech.
Trump celebrated late-night host Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension after rubbing shoulders with royalty. According to reports, ABC pulled the program after several ABC-affiliated stations objected to comments Kimmel made during Monday and Tuesday shows.
The comedian claimed that many people in MAGA land are actively pursuing profits from Charlie Kirk’s murder. On September 10, Kirk was shot while attending a party at the Utah University. Tyler Robinson, 22, was charged with aggravated murder after the conservative activist’s death, and he appeared in court on Tuesday.
During his first day of travel to the UK, Trump praised ABC’s decision in a post on Truth Social, writing: “Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done.” If that’s the case, Kimmel has ZERO talent and worse ratings than (Stephen) Colbert.
Kimmel compared FBI director Kash Patel’s handling of the case to a child who had not read a book, “BSing his way through an oral report,” and claimed that the president’s response to Kirk’s death “is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend.”
According to Kimmel, “The MAGA Gang]is] vehemently trying to characterize this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and using whatever means they can to gain political points from it.” There was grieving “in between the finger pointing.”
The following night, Kimmel mocked vice president JD Vance’s decision to guest host Kirk’s podcast. “Jimmy Kimmel Live will be pre-empted indefinitely,” a spokesperson for the Disney-owned network said in a statement to the BBC.
Governor Gavin Newsom of California described the canceled events and the firing of commentators as “coordinated” and “dangerous.” Hollywood stars backed Kimmel, with Sophia Bush claiming the “First Amendment doesn’t exist in America anymore,” while actor Ben Stiller claimed in a post on X the move “isn’t right.”
CBS, a rival network, announced in July that it would stop hosting The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in May for financial reasons. Trump has received criticism from Colbert.
