After falling, Piper Morgan’s femur broke badly, and he shared the special gift Amanda Holden gave him as a gift.
Following a fall at a posh London restaurant, Piers Morgan issued an update. The 60-year-old outspoken presenter suffered severe femur fractures as a result of the incident.
But he appeared to be in good spirits as he posted on Instagram at home with his new “breaking news crutches”. And as he sent a message from his home, he couldn’t help but make a jibe towards US President Donald Trump.
Sharing a snap of him on the crutches he received from Amanda Holden in front of the TV, which showed Trump on the news, he said: “Back home. Love my Breaking News @coolcrutches – thanks so much @noholdenback & Chris.

“Perfect timing as President Trump is making a lot of breaking news in Davos.” He also shared a message from Britain’s Got Talent co-star Amanda which read: “Here’s something to help you get back on your feet. All our love Amanda and Chris xxx”.
He made the comment shortly after posting an update from his hospital bed. Piers’ good friend intervened to save him from being bee-starved for a good bite while he was in the hospital.
Piers wrote, “Many of my friends and family have been incredibly kind and generous throughout my hospital stay, for which I am incredibly grateful. But consider this.
My lovely mate @andreacatherwoodnews called one of our mutual favorite restaurateurs @mcmoop and inquired if he might be able to bring some delicious recuperative food from his fabulous @devonshiresoho. He was immediately in favor and insisted on doing so on a Lime bike.
I tucked into sensational lamb chops with all the trimmings as I watched Arsenal’s last night thrashing of Inter Milan. Nearly as satisfying as the impressive performance of my team. Oisin and Andrea, thank you.
And Piers said, “Can’t wait to be back at the Devonshire as soon as my doctors allow me to walk through a restaurant once more..!”
Piers claimed at the weekend that he had slipped while eating at a restaurant in the capital and would need crutches for several weeks to recover. Additionally, he revealed that for the next three months, he won’t be able to take long-haul flights.
And in an unexpected twist, he placed the blame on his long-term friend, President Donald Trump. On Twitter/X, he wrote: “Breaking news! 1. Tripped on a small step. 2. In a London hotel restaurant.
“3. femur fractured 4. I desperately needed a new hip. 5. recovering in a hospital. 6. [Sic] Crutches for 6 weeks. 7. No long-haul for 12 wks]sic]. 8. a fantastic start to the new year! 9. Donald Trump is my fault.
He also shared a screenshot of his fall on Instagram that he later shared. As he received a stream of well-wishes from his celebrity pals, the image revealed the fracture.
