As the broadcaster continued to celebrate the release of his book, Woke Is Dead, Piers Morgan and his former British Got Talent co-star Amanda Holden recently reconnected in Hollywood, the pair continued to discuss the release of his novel.
A bizarre reunion was enjoyed by Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden.
The former Britain’s Got Talent co-stars have maintained a close friendship since the broadcaster stepped down from his role as a judge on the ITV show in 2010.
The former Good Morning Britain news anchor is currently riding the waves of success following the release of his latest book, Woke Is Dead. An official synopsis for the book states he has delivered a “characteristically combative rebuttal of what he views as ‘woke culture.”
And it appears that Amanda has been assisting Piers in the days leading up to the official launch party in America. At Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills, the pair reconnected, and it seemed a little too obscene.
Taking to Instagram, Piers shared a snap of himself and Amanda at the swanky eatery after they tucked into some food. As Amanda held the book up, she covered her teeth with a tissue, mocking the now-famous Hollywood smile.
The actress wore her distinctive loose-natural blonde hair in sensational waves. Amanda wore a silk blouse, which she adorned with pearls around the neck. Piers struggled to keep his smile as he relaxed while sporting an undone black shirt with top buttons removed.
He claimed that the Hollywood launch party for Woke Is Dead “went off the rails quite quickly” and that Amanda-only parties do so. Under his post, which has received more than 5, 000 likes, Amanda responded with two laughing emojis.
“True friends,” said one fan. A second added: “You too always look to have the best time.” Meanwhile, a third went on to comment: “I’m Team Piers Morgan all the way. He says it as it is and, if you don’t like it, change channels.” Many of Piers’ online followers explained that they couldn’t wait to get their hands on a copy of Woke Is Dead.
Piers’ celebration comes after he revealed that one thing “saved” him after an awkward interview with President Donald Trump. Just before the interview, Trump had received a file containing every critical comment he had made about him.
Morgan believes that Nigel Farage had supplied the President with the folder. However, there is nothing to suggest that this was the case. Requiring a swift remedy to salvage the interview, Morgan determined that praise was likely the most prudent approach: “I was sweating at this point, thinking, this interview’s off – how am I going to launch my show? This is a complete disaster.
“Ironically, I started thinking on my feet like I would on Celebrity Apprentice: ‘How do I get out of this? How do I game the moment?’ In the end, I was saved by golf.”
Ernie Els, a legendary South African golfer, recently had a conversation with Piers about their recent conversation. Trump reportedly scored a hole-in-one in the game. Morgan therefore chose to concentrate on that rather than any criticism of the notoriously sensitive political background of the leader.
Morgan responded, “I want to talk about some positive things too,” I said to him. And he responded, “Like what? ” And I responded, “Your hole in one.” Everyone is mentioning it right now. He shared the details of a recent interview with Ernie Els that he had read. Trump was described as “the best presidential golfer he had ever played with,” and that his lucky shot was one of the best he’d ever seen.
Morgan continues, “Trump’s entire demeanor immediately changed.” He said, “All right, let’s do the interview.” Ernie saved me, therefore. Farage’s alleged covert behavior, which described the Reform leader as a “tough weasel,” is something that “He hasn’t forgotten.” When he had a conversation with Trump about three months ago, I texted him to say, “Nigel, congratulations on your interview with Donald, great hit. And he said, “Thank you.” How did he give the favor back?
He returned to London and decided to rig my interview and screw me up.
