Fans of Pierce Brosnan have criticized a vile troll who posted comparisons to photos and alleged Keely Shaye Smith’s wife as a reminder to “get married” but never get married.

Piers and Keely, who the Bond icon tied the knot with in 2001, after tragically losing his wife of 11 years Cassandra Harris to cancer in 1991, are seen as one of the most lasting unions in Hollywood.

But on Sunday a vile online commentator on X maintained that the pair were an example of why d marriage should be ‘avoided’, in a post which included beaming images of the couple first on the red carpet at the Academy Awards in 1996, then another of them posing at the premiere of Piers’ film Mamma Mia! in 2008.
Fans were instantly up in arms at the disgusting comment, many maintaining that on the contrary, they were the poster couple for true and lasting love, in a showbiz world where relationships can often be shockingly short-lived.
One enraged fan wrote, “I don’t get some men on X devotion to degrade Brosnan’s wife.” She was andamp; is absolutely gorgeous, and they both seem happy and gracefully aging.
Another stunned follower maintained that Pierce – who has previously responded brilliantly to trolling about his wife’s weight – has actually ‘won the lottery of life’: ‘Dude’s been married 30 years and they’ve both aged gracefully.’
