In order to support their Sallah celebrations, the Kebbi State Government has distributed approximately 337 million dollars to women in all 21 local government areas.
Each of the state’s 3,743 polling stations awarded N30, 000 to the winners of the women’s selection process.
Abubakar Kana Zuru, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kebbi State, thanked Governor Nasir Idris for approving the funds as a show of goodwill during the holiday season.
Zuru stated that the Governor’s support for the welfare of our communities has once more been revealed. His “dedication to improving the lives of our people is obvious.”
He continued, “In total, 11 229 women were chosen, three from each of the 3, 743 polling units, and each received N30, 000.”

We made sure no political leader, including myself, any commissioner, or public office holder, included their wives, sisters, or relatives, according to Zuru, who praised the integrity of the selection process. This initiative is intended solely for women at the local level.
“All political office holders have the means to care for their close relatives and families. In order for women in need to have a joyful and fulfilling Sallah celebration, he said, “we specifically directed this gesture to women in need.”
