A brand-new piglet is already stealing hearts in the neighborhood. With the arrival of a baby girl, Mummy Pig gave birth to her third child early on Tuesday morning, expanding the Peppa Pig universe.
The happy news was made available on Good Morning Britain, where it was revealed that Evie, the baby, was delivered at 5:34 AM. Since Mummy Pig shocked viewers back in February with the surprise announcement on Good Morning Britain that she was expecting a second child, fans of the beloved animated family have closely followed the pregnancy journey.
The buzz only grew louder since then. Fans squealed with delight when it was revealed a young girl was arriving at a spectacular gender reveal party at London’s Battersea Power Station last month, which raised new levels of excitement.
For those wondering where baby Evie made her grand entrance – the Peppa Pig family spared no expense. At the Lindo Wing in London, Mummy Pig welcomed her third child. – the same location where Kate Middleton gave birth to all three of her children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.
A single night at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington costs £5, 900, while premium deluxe packages cost £7, 500.
Big brother George and big sister Peppa are said to be “over the moon” at home and counting the days until they can snuggle up to their new sibling. Mummy and Daddy Pig, the proud parents, said they are “looking forward to many happy snorts and sleepless nights.”
