Paul Hardcastle, a musician, was devastated this week when his son died while riding his motorcycle. He has since shared more details about the tragic day.

Just before his death, Paul Hardcastle had a heartbreaking final conversation with his son. The chart-topping actor’s son died in a police chase after failing to stop this week.

The 68-year-old musician Paul, best known for his 1985 number one single, 19 called 19, announced on Monday that his son, also known as Paul, had died in a motorcycle accident at the age of 35. The musician also revealed that he spoke to his son just five minutes before he passed away in a social media post posted on Friday.

After the motorbike failed to stop, police in Ongar, Essex, previously announced that they had followed it. The motorbike collided with a van, and the victim was later declared dead.

In an Instagram video shared on Friday, Paul Snr explained that his son had been running late for a flight and warned fans not to speculate over the police driving after his son. He explained: “He had missed his flight. He had four days work gigs in Greece… he had missed the first flight, so that’s all down to him.”

Paul continued, stating that his son’s car had been impounded, which further hampered his son’s ability to travel to the airport, and that the car’s saxophone, which he needed for his gigs in Greece, was locked in. The singer claimed that the car’s car had denied him access to his instrument, so he offered to bring him another saxophone.

Paul Snr remarked, “I said, Right, okay. You haven’t got long, look. Get your sax as soon as you can, or I’ll meet you halfway. He said, “I’ll go back.” In five minutes, I’ll get back to you. In five minutes, he didn’t get back to me.

Tragically, Paul Jnr was struck by a van, and despite the efforts of those present, he passed away. The distraught father described the incident as “apparently he’s hit a blue van, and people were trying to sort of help him and stuff.” However, they only stated that he breathed very slowly. He passed away exactly when I don’t know, but he did. So basically, that is what happened. He should have just taken an Uber or whatever, despite the fact that he had missed a flight and tried to get his sax.

Paul continued, “He only wanted to try to get his sax, get it back, leave his house, and travel to Greece.” Unfortunately, he made the wrong choice, which is all I can say. And it’s unfortunate that he did it, as his death could have easily been avoided and I’ve lost a lovely son.

The heartbroken actor continued to share how the police had delivered the shocking news to him. He said, “I felt sorry for the policeman; there are actually two of them.” He remarked, “They said, You mind if we enter. There are some news reports.

They said, “We’re very, very, very sorry to tell you that your son has died from an accident.” Nothing is worthwhile when you hear that, in your opinion.

He urged others to refrain from making quick decisions, saying, “Don’t bother if anyone is thinking along those lines.” Simply put, it is not worthwhile. Stop the performance. “Do something else.”

He continued, “I won’t say the odds are set against you, but the odds can be very brutal when they come up,” and that’s what has happened. So, Junior, rest in peace.

Numerous messages of support and condolences were sent through Paul’s post. Wow, how powerful is it to share this story and raise awareness of it to everyone doing so? What a man, man. I’m so sorry for your loss; Paul will always be remembered by many.

And yet another phrased, “Bless you Paul for doing this, and I understand why we can all feel your pain and family’s pain.”

The post was published just after the star’s tragic news was shared with the media at the end of the week. He posted a heartbreaking Instagram post alongside a photo of Paul Jnr as a child, revealing his sad news about his son.

The music producer’s son Paul Hardcastle Jr. was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident earlier this year and has sadly passed away in a caption that was placed over the image. RIP, Dad, love him. One of the commenters on the post was Jools Holland, who wrote, “I send all love and our deepest condolences.”
