After secretly battling cancer, Pat Finn passed away. The actor, who played Dr. Roger in the television series Friends, reportedly passed away on Tuesday at his Los Angeles home with his close-knit family.
However, Pat’s private cancer battle has not been made public. He was allegedly diagnosed with bladder cancer several years ago, according to reports.
Pat, who had battled cancer in 2022, recovered after the incurable illness returned and spread to the area. He is also known for his appearances on The Middle, Seinfeld, and The George Wendt Show. Celebrity pals are now posting tributes on social media.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, comedian Jeff Dye said, “I don’t like to be the guy who posts pictures with celebrities that pass.” To me, however, this man wasn’t just a celebrity. He had a friend. One of the funniest people I’ve ever met and was PERFECT with humor. We can sing along and sigh over all the disparaging words in the old world, and I love you Pat Finn and look forward to seeing you again in the after.

The actor, who was born on July 31, 1965, immediately fell in love with the performing arts. He made his comedic debut on some of the biggest sitcoms and forged a career as a comic. He appeared on Seinfeld as Joe Mayo in the early 1990s.
He later appeared on Murphy Brown and The George Wendt Show as Dan Coleman. However, Bill Norwood, who he played between 2011 and 2018, is his most well-known role to date.
However, Pat was known for more than just his acting career. He and his college friend Chris Farley rose to fame as stand-out comedians. He taught Improv for Strategic Communications at the University of Colorado in addition to his career in the arts.
His 1990 marriage to his wife Donna, their three children Cassidy, Caitlin, and Ryan, also leaves him.
