Pastor Adefarasin Clears Air On Alleged Gun Incident In Viral Clip

Pastor Adefarasin Clears Air On Alleged Gun Incident In Viral Clip

Paul Adefarasin, the senior pastor of House on the Rock Church, has refuted reports that he was filmed holding a gun in a now-defunct video.

The video, which was first released earlier this week, shows Pastor Adefarasin posing with a passing car and recording him in traffic.

Some online users claimed that the pastor was holding and possibly pointing a gun at the subject, which quickly attracted the attention of the public.

Pastor Adefarasin responded to the speculation by describing the allegations as misunderstanding in a post on his official X&nbsp, handle.

“You might be aware of a video that has been widely circulated on social media that depicts me wielding a weapon in an offensive manner.

He wrote, “I want to assure you that this was not a firearm, and I never pointed such a gun at anyone.”

The cleric, who oversees all House on the Rock branches, expressed concern about the potential harm the video might have caused and urged the general public to avoid spreading false information or sensationalism.

We fully understand the concern this accusation may have caused, and we will address this impromptu tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. He continued, “I appreciate your understanding and patience.”

The incident reportedly occurred when an unnamed driver recognized Pastor Adefarasin in traffic, according to eyewitness accounts that circulated alongside the footage. After winding down his car window, the cleric was seen holding up an object, which made the audience think it was a weapon.

Adefarasin reiterated his commitment to truth and clarity in his address to his congregation and followers.

His message began with “My Dear Family, trusting that this meets you well, winning and on top of the tests of life,” before reiterating that the subject was not a firearm.

The pastor also eluded the pastor’s request to hold a brief discussion of the subject at Sunday’s service.

In a follow-up message, he advised, “Do not allow the level at which you feel comfortable to prevent you from receiving God’s next call upon your life.”
