Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris has candidly opened up about her drug abuse with her followers, where she even gave her followers a close up of the hole inside her nose which she refuses to get fixed
Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, has revealed that she has a hole in her nose from years of drug abuse and shared why she isn’t getting plastic surgery to fix it. The 27-year-old musician discussed her drug abuse in a candid video shared to her Instagram, where she even gave her followers a close up of the hole inside her nose.
She told her followers: “I have a really loud whistle because you can hear it when I breathe through my nose…”. Paris then used her phone to shine a light into her nose which revealed a hole in her septum. While she acknowledges that she can get it ‘fixed’ through surgery, she is concerned it would cause her to relapse. She said: “You have to take pills when you do a surgery that gnarly, and I don’t want to f*** with that.”
She took the opportunity to warn fans not to do drugs, before stating everyone had their own choice. She added: “Everyone is going to have the experience they need to have with life. I’m not going to tell anyone what to do. I don’t recommend it because it ruined my life.”

This isn’t the first time the singer has opened up about her past drug addiction, and in January this year she celebrated 5 years sober from alcohol and heroin.
In January, she took to social media where she spoke openly about her struggles. She shared a video collage, with the first half depicting her previous struggles, including frequent drinking, smoking, and moments of emotional lows and exhaustion.
The second half highlights her recovery journey, showcasing milestones like sobriety badges, including one that reads, “Clean and serene for six months,” along with others. The video concluded with uplifting clips of Paris dancing, laughing, staying active, performing music, and appearing happier and more vibrant.
Michael Jackson’s daughter captioned the post: “Hi, I’m PK and I’m an alcoholic and a heroin addict. today marks 5 years clean & sober from all drugs and alcohol. to say that i’m thankful would be a poor euphemism. gratitude hardly scratches the surface. it’s because i’m sober that i get to smile today. i get to make music. i get to experience the joy of loving my dogs and cat.
“I get to feel heartbreak in all it’s glory. i get to grieve. i get to laugh. i get to dance. i get to trust. i feel the sun on my skin and it’s warm. i’ve found that life keeps happening regardless of whether i’m sober or not, but today i get to show up for it. Here’s a little snapshot of what has been possible because of my sobriety, and my god i can’t believe i almost missed it all. thanks.”
Paris has had a jam-packed career, including starred in productions such as Sex Appeal in 2022 and Swarm in 2023, while also playing a part in American Horror Stories.
However, despite her success, Paris has been open about her struggles. In a 2017 chat with Rolling Stone magazine, Paris recalled her lowest moment. She said: “It was just self-hatred, low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn’t do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore.”
Prince revealed in 2017 that Paris is the one most like their father. “Basically, as a person, she is who my dad is,” he told Rolling Stone.
