Cassie Ventura reportedly gave birth to a baby after giving testimony in her ex-boyfriend’s sex trafficking trial. The rapper is accused of a number of serious offenses, including racketeering, conspiracy, forced sex trafficking, fraud, or coercion, and prostitution.
Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie, who is expecting her third child, took to the stage last week, and TMZ reports that the singer has been taken to a New York hospital to give birth.
According to a source, Cassie is currently in the labor and delivery room after giving birth to her during her trial testimony. She was approximately eight months pregnant. Cassie’s representatives have been contacted for comment by The Mirror.
With her husband Alex Fine, the couple are expecting a son after making a pregnancy announcement in February, Cassie and her husband Alex Fine have two daughters, Sunny, four, and Frankie, five.
After being detained in September over a number of charges, Cassie testified last week in Diddy’s trial. He firmly refutes any accusations made against him.
Following a number of unsuccessful bail requests, the 55-year-old rapper has been imprisoned since his arrest in September.
Cassie and Diddy had been dating for more than ten years, but Diddy once attacked her in a hotel. During the trial, video was shown. Security footage from the 2016 hotel attack was shown in the video, which was silent.
Diddy is seen slamming Cassie to the ground and grabbing her head from the back at one point in the video. She is also seen being kicked while she is lying on the floor.
Doug Wigdor, Cassie’s attorney, released a statement on her behalf after giving testimony in the trial.
According to Cassie, “This week has been incredibly challenging, but also remarkably empowering and healing for me.”
