Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs returned back in court today for day three of week three, with celebrity stylist Denote Nash back on the stand for further cross-examination.

The music mogul’s former assistant and alleged victim ‘Mia’ will also be called by prosecutors, with her testimony expected to last through til Friday.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, 55, is currently facing a number of serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He was arrested in September and strongly denies all allegations made against him. He has been in prison since his arrest, and a number of bail requests have been rejected.

Prosecutors aim to finish Mia’s testimony by tomorrow

Prosecutor Madison Smyser said she hopes to wrap up direct examination of Mia, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistant, by the end of tomorrow so she won’t have to return next week.

Prince’s security had to separate Combs from Cassie Ventura after he attacked her at party, ex-employee says

Mia testified that the music mogul physically attacked Cassie Ventura during a 2010 party hosted by Prince — and that Prince’s security had to step in to stop the assault.

The ex-employee, who is testifying under the pseudonym Mia, recounted that the incident happened the night after an award show, which Ventura and another witness previously identified as the Emmys.

According to Mia, Combs had told Ventura he would be spending the night with his children and instructed Mia to stay with her at a hotel to keep her company. But when they got word of a party at Prince’s house, Ventura and Mia decided to go.

“Cass and I debated like little kids if we should sneak out of the house,” Mia said.

At the party, they were enjoying themselves dancing and watching Prince perform — until Combs showed up.

“I remember seeing his bucket hat,” Mia testified. “We locked eyes.”

Mia said she and Ventura immediately ran, but Combs caught up to Ventura outside. “He had her on the ground,” Mia said. “He started attacking her, but Prince’s security swiftly intervened.”

Fearing for her safety, Mia said she didn’t return to the hotel that night and stayed elsewhere.

Mia breaks down while recalling alleged violent assault by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Mia got emotional on the stand as she described a brutal attack she says she witnessed between Combs and singer Cassie Ventura.

Testifying in court, Mia recalled seeing Combs follow Ventura into a bedroom and lift her off the ground. “I saw him pick her up and thought, ‘Is he going to kill her?’” she said.

According to Mia, Combs then slammed Ventura’s head into the corner of a bedframe, causing her head to “start gushing blood.”

After the attack, Mia said Combs ordered her to contact an assistant and arrange for a plastic surgery consultation to treat Ventura’s wound. She was instructed to tell the doctor Ventura had injured herself while drunk.

“I thought that was the only way to get her help,” Mia explained. “And because Puff told me to.”

When asked by prosecutor Madison Smyser about Combs’ demeanor during the assault, Mia said, “His eyes turned, like, black… it was like he was looking through me. There was no getting through.”

Mia testifies that Diddy attacked both her and Cassie on the same night

Mia recounted an incident at Cassie Ventura’s apartment where she and celebrity stylist Deonte Nash were helping Cassie pack for a trip.

She testified that Combs suddenly arrived, pounding on the door before entering and yelling at Ventura, “Have you been drinking?”

According to Mia, Combs became “extremely aggressive” and physically attacked Ventura, throwing her to the ground.

“Deonte and I immediately jumped in to stop him,” Mia said. “We were both trying to pull him off her. At one point, he had Deonte in a hold that made me fear for his life, so I jumped on Combs’ back.”

“If we did anything without his approval,” Mia said, “something bad, very scary, would happen.”

Cassie confronted Diddy over lack of support in 2012 email: “No label support, no show”

Jurors were presented with a 2012 email exchange involving Cassie Ventura, Sean “Diddy” Combs, his assistant Mia, Capricorn Clark, and others tied to Ventura’s music career.

In the message, Ventura expressed frustration about being unable to perform due to budget issues: “I have been informed that I cannot perform on Monday due to overages in costs. I have worked very hard, but I cannot support myself on the things that I need in order to move forward and make this show happen and run smoothly.”

Combs replied by directing her to speak with another executive, telling her she wasn’t ready and cautioning her not to “embarrass (herself) again.”

The jury takes a short break

‘Mia’ delivers her testimony with her head down and ‘unconfident’ posture

Former assistant says working on TV and film projects was a dream come true

Despite grueling work conditions under Sean “Diddy” Combs, his former assistant—testifying under the pseudonym Mia—described her move into TV and film as a major personal achievement.

Mia told the court she helped Combs launch Revolt Films, a production company distinct from his Revolt TV brand, and said she had been managing it behind the scenes for years before finally receiving a formal title to match her responsibilities.

Former assistant says working solo for Diddy was ‘insane’

Mia, a former personal assistant to Sean “Diddy” Combs and one of his alleged victims, told the court she spent about a year as his sole assistant – an experience she described as overwhelming.

When asked by Assistant U.S. Attorney Madison Smyser how she felt during that period, Mia replied: “I didn’t have time to feel… But like, insane.”

Mia testified that during her time working for the music mogul, she was not permitted to leave his residences without his explicit permission.

She recounted an incident from 2009 or 2010 when she quietly exited one of Combs’ homes late at night, assuming it would go unnoticed as he was asleep. But shortly after, she received a call from his security team, who said they had been dispatched to track her down.

“I got in big trouble,” Mia recalled.

Ex-assistant recalls “exhausting” demands working for Diddy as jury shown job list

In court testimony, former assistant “Mia” described the overwhelming scope of responsibilities she was expected to manage while working for Sean “Diddy” Combs – expectations so intense, she once documented them in a detailed list to another employee in 2011.

Mia said she created the list after Combs, whom she referred to as “PD,” made a “threatening” remark that left her feeling pressured to justify her role. The list, seen by the jury, painted a picture of round-the-clock availability and hyper-vigilance.

Among the duties she listed:

Mia emphasized the chaotic nature of the job by writing that she could be asked to do up to “17,000 things at one time,” ranging from the mundane to the bizarre — “cracking his knuckles to writing his next movie to doing his taxes,” she wrote.

Mia says severe sleep deprivation was routine while working for Diddy

Mia told jurors she didn’t get a moment’s rest during her first full day on the job — a grueling start she initially assumed was some kind of test tied to her two-week probation.

But as time went on, she said, it became clear this wasn’t a one-off. The extreme hours and lack of sleep weren’t temporary — they were standard.

Going days without rest was common, she testified. In one particularly brutal stretch, Mia said she worked five consecutive days with no sleep, staying awake with the help of extended-release Adderall.

Former assistant describes grueling work conditions under Diddy

‘Mia’ described what she called a relentless and exhausting work environment, where sleep was a rare luxury.

On her very first day, Mia said she went a full 24 hours without rest. Initially, she assumed the sleepless stretch might be part of a test during her two-week probation period. But she soon realized this was not an exception — it was standard practice.

Sleep deprivation became routine, Mia testified, claiming that she sometimes went multiple days without rest. In one instance, she said: “I worked five days straight without sleeping,” relying on extended-release Adderall to stay functional.

‘Mia’ claims Diddy answered door in his underwear when she arrived for interview

Diddy’s former assistant ‘Mia’ testified that she was around 25 or 26 when she applied for a job at his company.

For an interview, she claims she went to Combs’ apartment to meet him alongside the head of HR.

Stylist kept in touch with Diddy after he stopped working with him in 2018

Nash told the court that he kept in touch with Diddy after he stopped working for him in 2018.

The jury were shown messages between Nash and Combs from January 2019 in which the stylist told the music mogul love. Diddy replied: “Yeah, right.”

Combs also referred to what appeared to be Cassie’s current husband Alex Fine as “the trainer”. Fine was previously Cassie’s personal trainer.

Cassie’s pal left hotel room when she said Combs wanted another man over

Nash’s earlier testimony about a trip to Vegas over New Years in 2016-2017 was also brought up again by defense attorney Donaldson. Nash had claimed he saw a man enter Cassie and Diddy’s hotel room.

He said he left the room after Cassie told him that Combs wanted another man over.

Donaldson suggested that he must not have had any concerns for Cassie’s safety if he left without asking any questions.

However Nash replied: “I always did.”

Donaldson asked: “But in this situation you left the room anyway?”

The stylist replied: “Yes.”

Defense argues Nash’s testimony differs from his account prior to trial

Defense attorney Donaldson has argued that stylist Nash’s testimony on the stand doesn’t match his account to prosecutors prior to the trial regarding Cassie’s 29th birthday.

Nash testified in court on Wednesday that Diddy and Cassie argued during her birthday dinner, with the rapper telling her that he did everything for her but that she couldn’t do “this one thing”.

However, Donaldson said the government’s interview notes didn’t include those details and that he didn’t tell prosecutors about Combs pointing in Cassie’s face while they were in a karaoke bar that night.
