In response to the announcement of the Black Sabbath frontman’s passing, one of Ozzy Osbourne’s sons has written a brief but moving tribute to his late father. Only four of the six children mentioned in the family statement that he had been married to at the time of his death, though Brian Ozzy was the father of six more.
The family’s statement reads, “Our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. More sadness than words can convey.” He was surrounded by love and his family. At this time, we ask that everyone respects our family’s privacy. Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis, among others.
Ozzy’s three youngest children, who were married to Sharon Osbourne, the former X Factor judge, are Jack, Kelly, and Aimee Osbourne. The late rocker’s youngest child was his first wife, and Louis Osbourne was one of them.

Ozzy was a father-of-three before meeting Sharon, who he had previously been married to from 1971 to 1982. He was also a father-of-three when he was married to his ex-wife, Thelma Riley. Before making his first biological father for the first time in 1972 with the birth of daughter Jessica, the late singer adopted Thelma’s son from a previous relationship.
Louis, the son, was born three years later. Although the Osbourne family statement from last night didn’t mention Kinglsey and Jessica, it appears Louis was present during his father’s final moments. Why Kinglsey and Jessica didn’t appear in the statement is unknown at this time.

Louis, a fan of War Pigs, has changed his Facebook profile picture to an entirely black screen as a result of his father’s passing.
Louis made an important appearance in the Christmas special “A Very Ozzy Christmas” from the first season of The Osbournes. They were filmed going about their daily lives while cameras captured their every move, a feature that gained popularity in the UK and other countries.
Louis made an open letter to his famous father and his half-siblings in 2012. He told Birmingham Live in 2012, “I don’t travel as much as I used to, and they’re in America.” There is a greater likelihood of us meeting in a neighborhood hotel in New York than we would like to share a Sunday lunch. On special occasions, we meet.
However, he and his father made a point of checking in frequently. “Dad typically calls on a Sunday afternoon for a catch-up, and we take the kids there when he travels to the UK.” Dad is fantastic and a “doting grandad” in every way.
Following his passing, Ozzy’s fans, musicians, and former bandmates have shared messages in which they express gratitude for “bringing Birmingham together.” His Black Sabbath band mates, Terence “Geezer” Butler, Tony Iommi, and Bill Ward, performed tributes to Ozzy alongside Birmingham-born fans who had just performed him at a reunion concert a few weeks earlier.
Iommi, a co-founder of Black Sabbath, called the reunion with the band “brilliant” and claimed that Ozzy “really wanted” to do so once more and “felt at home.”
It is truly a shock, he claimed on BBC Radio 4’s Today program. To be honest, I really have been hit by it today. It was fantastic to be with all the guys once more, and it was fantastic for Ozzy because, you know, he felt very at home there, which was fantastic. It was lovely and beneficial for everyone, and it was also lovely to be able to end our time together. We didn’t realize this would be the final, after all.
As part of the Black Sabbath reunion, Ozzy took to the stage earlier this month to tell the crowd of thousands of fans of heavy metal at Villa Park, which was just a stone’s throw away from the band’s birth in 1968, that it was “so good to be on this stage.”
The Back to the Beginning concert lineup featured only Osbourne and his fellow original Black Sabbath members.
