Just two weeks after his heartfelt farewell performance at Villa Park, Ozzy Osbourne passed away at the age of 76. The rock legend’s final performance was performed for the audience at the concert, which included an all-star lineup of fellow music icons, in front of 40,000 people.
With the aid of wife Sharon Osbourne, the band’s goal was to bring back the metal band’s original members, Black Sabbath, to the stage where they once again belonged.
Ozzy, 76, who has Parkinson’s disease, sang while seated on a black throne, still enjoying the audience’s attention as he roared and made wistful looks.

For the first time in 20 years, the original Sabbath line-up and the original band played together at the historic concert. Steven Tyler, Slayer, the Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood, and Guns N’ Roses’ Steven Tyler joined them.
Ozzy’s final appearance was not his last one; he also made a stopover at Comic Con Midlands a few days later, along with Sharon, Jack, and Kelly.
People who had the chance to meet the icon in person referred to him as a “metal godfather” who “blessed us” with music.
At the news, a fan who was one of the last to meet Ozzy at Comic Con Midlands claims to be “numb.” Pip Marsh, a friend, and Pippa Davis, the star of the convention, met earlier this month.
