In a video released just two days before his passing, Ozzy Osbourne was captured with his family. Following the singer-songwriter’s passing last night, the footage has gained attention this week.
His daughter Kelly Osbourne, 40, shared the video with fans on her Instagram Story on July 20, two days before the Black Sabbath legend died. It showed Ozzy using a tablet whilst sat at a table with his youngest daughter and her two-year-old son Sidney.

The three of them were spotted having breakfast together in the video, where they could see newspapers on the table, including the Sunday Mirror. Good morning, Kelly opened the video with. Then she turned her father’s side.
At one point in the clip, Kelly refers to Ozzy as “dadda,” who was seated with a pair of headphones on. She later said, “Good morning”! Ozzy leant forward and said, “Good morning, I’m gonna have to address you!” after being asked to address the audience.
Fans have since shared the footage on social media this week, including after Ozzy’s death was announced by his family. On top of that, one post on TikTok currently has more than 2 million likes.
Kelly was among the family members who announced Ozzy’s death in a statement yesterday. It had been signed by his wife Sharon and four of his children, Louis Osbourne, Aimee Osbourne, Jack Osbourne and Kelly, last night.
Our beloved Ozzy Osbourne passed away this morning, according to the statement, “with more sadness than words can convey.” He was surrounded by love and his family. At this time, we ask that everyone respects our family’s privacy. Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis, among others.
The news of his death prompted a tributes, including from his former Black Sabbath former bandmates, whom he reunited with at a farewell concert in Birmingham recently. Flowers have since been left on bench and bridge commemorating the band in the city, with fans visiting the area.
