Amanda Owen is still keeping her many fans informed about her busy life and the difficulties she faces while away from television.
Our Yorkshire Farms Amanda Owen made a candid admission as she opened up about her recent battle with “seriously cold conditions” on Raveseat Farm.
The Yorkshire shepherdess, 50, who rose to fame on the Channel 5 programme, announced in 2022 that she was splitting from her husband Clive Owen but would continue to work with him on the farm and co-parent their children.
Away from our TV screen the star is still keeping her many fans up-to-date on her busy life and the recent weather, which has seen ice and snow has made her life difficult.
Taking to her Instagram, Amanda shared a series of videos as she spoke about the battle with the big freeze as she struggled to look for one of her sheep.
The mother-of-nine can be seen searching for her farm animal in an icy field in one clip, but she had a bad time. Sadly, she was forced to return to her truck as the weather got worse.
She explained to the camera, “The weather has turned the worst, it’s now snowing and it’s so cold. Although it’s warmer than it was before it was just icy, it’s now just icy snow.
No indication of Blindie Eye (her sheep), but she is fine, she continued, “I just need this weather to calm down so she can emerge from her hiding place.”
She must be hiding somewhere under the wind, I assure you. I only wanted to treat her, but I’m only able to do my best.
She continued, “I am so far behind with EVERYTHING!” So here’s an update on what’s been going on.
“Seriously cold conditions, little in the way of snow, temperatures well below zero, and a wind chill that takes your breath away”
The star continued, “Today the temperature dropped and I set out to look for a yow that I came across a few days ago.” She was high stepping while moving quickly in the opposite direction, looking as though her vision was deteriorating.
She’s somewhere, I promise you, but I’ll never see her, either today or yesterday. With sheep, hide and seek. Not a game I enjoy playing when the weather changes.
