According to Vice President Kashim Shettima, strong institutional reforms can solve 80 percent of Nigeria’s bureaucratic and policy issues.

Shettima made this statement at the State House’s official presentation of the draft National Public Policy Development and Management Framework.

Hadiza Usman, the head of the Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU), and the Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination gave a presentation at the State House.

Shettima urged a national reset in the conception, communication, and implementation of government policies, describing the new policy framework as a “long overdue” transformation approach in Nigeria’s governance architecture.
