Laura and Jason Kenny, the parents of a girl, have revealed their family. Before revealing their happy news, the couple have been open about their fertility struggles.
Laura, 33, and her older brothers Albie and Monty shared a sweet picture of their young daughter. The magic number is “Three.” Lilian Joyce Kenny Born on 4/5/25 at 10.44am. She announced that she was weighing 8.0 pounds.
Can’t stop calling him and her, he added. We never had a daughter of our own choosing. a combination of the names of both of our parents.
Our beautiful, tiny family is complete, Laura sweetly declared. She shared a sweet picture of her three young children wearing adorable jumpers with their names written on the back.
Fans texted the couple, “Oh wow beautiful photo and congratulations!” and the couple received a lot of messages. Another added: “Stop!!! I’m so happy for you all five.
Olympic Olympian Denise Lewis wrote, “Congratulations to all of you,” while another person made the comment: “Huge congratulations”!
Over the New Year’s Eve, Laura and Jason announced that they would be expecting their third child. Albie, seven, and Monty, one, who are wearing T-shirts with the message “I’m going to be a big brother to a baby,” Laura, said in a video released on New Year’s Eve, saying “2025 is going to be even more special”
The announcement came as Laura’s fears that the elite sport might have affected her fertility, which included a miscarriage in 2021 and an ectopic pregnancy in 2022, emerged.
Was my body simply sputtering away as it said, “Well, hang on, there’s no way we can do this,” it continued? she stated.
“Every training session, I went there to give 100%, and I went there to race to give 100%,” he said. I stretched myself to the point where I would think, “Did I try hard enough?” if I wasn’t sick after a race.
After winning two gold medals at the London 2012 Olympics and two more at Rio 2016, Laura wed Jason in 2016. Albie gave birth to Monty in 2023, but the couple had their first son, a son in 2017, before she miscarried.
Laura became the most successful female cyclist in history and the most successful British female athlete, adding two more medals to her total at the 2020 Olympics to bring her total to six.
Laura said on BBC Radio 4’s Today program, “I had a miscarriage followed by an ectopic [pregnancy] while I was still training,” and if her career was to blame.
“I trained hard, and I’ve been doing it for a long time. Is there anything we’re doing to our bodies that makes them so difficult to have children that they can’t possibly have a child?
She continued, “Monty was just hell. Because it was horrendous, I won’t go on to claim that it was anything other than that. It was extremely difficult to deal with having an ectopic and a miscarriage that were so close together.
The hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through was having the miscarriage, which turned out to be the heartbreaking outcome because it was all about, “Am I going to survive this?”
