Despite a tragic death at their Wembley performance on Saturday when a fan fell from a higher tier in the stadium, the eagerly awaited Oasis reunion tour is still on.

An Oasis fan tragically died at their concert at Wembley Stadium over the weekend. While there has been widespread euphoria following the epic reunion tour this summer, one show was sadly met with tragedy.

As the Mancunian Britpop legends took to the stage again at Wembley on Saturday, one fan died after falling from the upper tier of the stadium. Shortly after the incident, police confirmed the tragic news that a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was understood to be sitting in the upper tier of the 90,000-seat stadium in London. The highest stands in the arena are 50 metres above the ground. It’s thought to have been likely that the heartbreaking tragedy happened as the band finished their set. Witnesses have since described the horrific scenes and urged others to look out for each other if they are attending future shows.
