As the band prepares to make their first tour in more than a decade, the band is gearing up for one of the most eagerly awaited reunions in music history.
Fans heading to Oasis’ highly anticipated reunion gigs at Manchester’s Heaton Park this summer have been issued new guidance regarding crowd management and ticket access.
The shows include four back-to-back sold-out dates at Heaton Park between July 11 and July 20 as part of a highly anticipated tour that kicks off in Cardiff on July 4 at the Principality Stadium.
Richard Ashcroft and Cast are among the supporting acts. Despite the fact that the majority of the tour’s stops are in traditional stadiums, Heaton Park’s standing-only, open-air layout has prompted organisers to implement additional safety measures.
The Safety Advisory Group has recommended that the venue be divided into two designated areas: a general admission area and a front standing area closer to the stage in order to accommodate the anticipated 80, 000-capacity crowds. Ticketholders are now invited to indicate their desire to use the front section.
An official message sent to attendees reads, “The Safety Advisory Group for the Heaton Park shows have divided the concert arena into two areas, each with a dedicated ticket and entry gate issued in advance.
Organisers claimed the move was made “to ensure fan safety and enhance the fan experience when entering the site.”
The email contains a link that enables ticket holders to request front standing access. Tickets will be chosen randomly from the applicant pool if the number of opt-in requests exceeds the number of available tickets, the email added. Applications close at 12:00 PM on May 30; final placement announcements should be made by June 20.
“Please take note that you cannot split up your orders if you opt in. You don’t need to do anything if you’re content to stay in the general admissions area, the message stated.
Noel Gallagher also recently described the band’s preparations in a TalkSPORT interview: “I’m in the studio just noodling around. In about three weeks, rehearsals will begin, and yes, we’ll see what happens.
Oasis Live’s 25-date reunion tour, Oasis Live’25, is scheduled for July 4, 2025 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, and it will wrap up on November 23, 2025 at Brazil’s Estádio Morumbi in So Paulo.
Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin are the venues for the UK and Ireland leg. Notable events will take place between July 11 and July 20, at London’s Wembley Stadium, and at London’s Heaton Park, which will stage six shows from July 25 through August 3.
In August, Dublin’s Croke Park and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium will both host three concerts. The band will play in North America, including Mexico City, Chicago, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Toronto following the European dates.
The tour will then extend to Asia and Oceania, with stops in South Korea, Japan, and Australia, before concluding in South America with performances in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
