The Gallagher brothers continue to captivate audiences with live performances, and Edinburgh is now in the mood to experience the noise.
Oasis are set to storm Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Friday 8th, Saturday 9th, and Tuesday 12th August 2025 — and fans have now been issued with a no‑nonsense guide to entry times, bag rules and what’s banned from the gig. The entry points are also specifically colour coded.
The gig follows huge success for the band in Cardiff, Manchester and London with all the shows being a massive success, although very sadly one fan did die whilst watching them at Wembley last weekend. Liam Gallagher then dedicated Live Forever on Sunday to “all the people who can’t be here tonight, but who are here if you know what I mean”.

Transportation and parking
The stadium does not have any off-street parking. Accessible ticket holders who present a valid event specific car park pass (this pass must be requested in advance, and if a space is allocated, will be distributed with your tickets) will have access to a limited number of accessible parking spaces.
At Murrayfield Ice Rink (EH12 5XN), accessible parking is close to the stadium.
Please take note that only those with event-specific car park passes may use this car park, which is not accessible to everyone who owns a Blue Badge. The event’s vehicles will be parked there until the roads are open again due to crowd egress and local road closures.
The stadium is served by public transportation, which takes 45 minutes to walk from the city center and takes 20 minutes to get to Haymarket.
* What direction should I enter?
Purple, blue, orange, and green are the four color-coded entrances that allow you to enter the stadium. For more information, check your tickets. Those who wear blue coats and walk around the ground will also be able to assist.
Why does Oasis value Scotland so highly?
One night at King Tut’s in Glasgow on May 31, 1993, changed the band’s fortunes and music history.
Two of the bands he had recently signed were playing: 18 Wheeler and Boyfriend, as well as a band called Sister Lovers, and Creation Records boss Alan McGee had scheduled a birthday party there for his sister’s birthday drinks.
Sister Lovers, however, had unknowingly invited their Manchester friends along and informed Oasis they could also get a spot on the line-up.
After some back and forth, the band was permitted to play a few songs if they went on to play for a small crowd first and then begged and demanded to be moved on. Thankfully, McGee had already knocked back drinks because he had arrived too early.
They played a Rock’n’Roll star, McGee claims in his book How To Run an Indie Label. Who the hell is this, I was really surprised and wondered. ‘. Although I was anticipating the upcoming song to be rubbish, it was Bring It On Down, which was fantastic. Then I was already thinking about signing them in my head, Up in the Sky.
After the trio of songs, McGee’s sister became a fan as well, and the band then came to an end with “fantastic” The Beatles I Am The Walrus, which McGee approached Mark Coyle, the band’s sound guy, to introduce Noel the band’s leader.
Noel explains in the documentary Supersonic: “Alan McGee and I walk up to the mixing desk and ask “what’s your band called,” and I respond, “Oasis,” with the exact words he says in his own words. Do you want a record deal? ‘.
No one high-fiving in the back of the van when we kind of went back that night and said, “This is it.” We were also being ambivalent about it, I can’t recall. At 6 o’clock in the morning, we were returning to Manchester and entering the area where I was a resident.
Noel, Liam, and Bonehead met with the Creation team on a train from Manchester to London before McGee agreed to sign them.
