At the band’s sold-out concert at Wembley Stadium last night, an Oasis fan tragically plunged to his death as a result of what witnesses called the “horrific” scene.
The man, who is in his 40s, is thought to have sat in the stadium’s upper tier when he fell. The man was quickly reached by emergency services, but sadly he was later declared dead. At 10.19pm, the Met Police confirmed officers arrived on the scene of an injured person toward the band’s reunion show.
The Met has been contacted by any witnesses and concertgoers with information about the tragedy, according to police who stated that officers at Wembley had located the man with “injuries consistent with a fall.”
A horrified concertgoer posted their account on Facebook, writing, “Anyone else witness the guy drop from the upper tier last night?”
After witnessing the tragic incident, another Oasis fan responded, calling it “panic attack.” They said: “I was block 502 row 32. Never have I ever experienced such a complication. I reached my seat, and it was a complete panic attack unlike any other.

I was crying and shaking. Due to the high demand for the show, I was so afraid to descend and have to go back up. However, Wembley moved me to block 501 row 8 because of the state I was in. Nowhere near as steep as it is going up. I felt so blessed.
A lower-tier concertgoer described witnessing emergency personnel rush to the spot where the fan’s concrete hit after the plunge. I was directly beneath section 211, she wrote.
“At first glance, I thought it was a coat falling from the above tier, but I later realized the bloke was on the concrete.” It was horrifying to watch.

A concert goer was found with injuries consistent with a fall, according to a Wembley Stadium spokesperson. The fan tragically passed away despite their efforts.
Our thoughts are with his family, who has been informed and being supported by specially trained police officers. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the police. The Oasis concert will continue as planned tonight.
The Mirror has contacted Oasis’ Metropolitan Police and Oasis representatives for comment.
