The set list for their historic Irish concerts as part of the mammoth tour has been confirmed for Oasis’ second concert at Dublin’s Croke Park later tonight.
Later tonight, Oasis will return to the Dublin stage, and the set list will undoubtedly sway fans. After the band split in 2009, Liam and Noel Gallagher, once antagonists, had been fighting for 16 years.
Noel, the older brother, complained that he couldn’t work a day longer with his younger brother, sparking a sibling conflict. They have since exchanged tense words in social media and interviews. However, things changed last year when Liam headlined Reading Festival and it was revealed that Oasis were back.
They announced a handful of dates across the UK before adding dozens more, as well as performances across the world. Tickets sold out almost instantly, despite Ticketmaster using dynamic pricing, which saw the cost of tickets rocket, although the band had no say in this. It comes after Noel’s daughter Anaïs shared an eight-word message to Oasis fans in Dublin.

Their concert also marked the first time since their split that Noel and Liam’s beloved mother, Peggy, had seen their two sons together at night. Liam could be heard saying, “This one I want to dedicate to my mum, my mum is here tonight,” as the band performed Stand By Me. Croke Park’s fans reacted with a lot of cheers.
Additionally, Liam dedicated Roll With It to the residents of Charlestown, Co Mayo, where his mother was born. He also turned to the upper tiers where she was supposed to be seated during the middle of the song and kissed her as he mouthed, “I love you.”
Peggy, 92, previously discussed plans to see them perform on the Oasis Live’25 tour. She still resides in Manchester where she raised her three boys in Burnage. However, Peggy avoided the long-running Manchester shows so she could watch them play in Dublin while comforting herself in a box. Peggy was questioned about her involvement in the Noel and Liam reunion in a June interview.
She responded, “Yes, I was the instigator. But wasn’t it going to happen at some point, surely? Of course, that was their choice. Look, you can’t make them do things they don’t want to. Following a years-long rift between the two, she admitted to feeling relieved to see her sons resume their work. It’s great, because “nobody wants their kids to divorce,” doesn’t it? She said she was nervous about the shows, but that she would be “glad when it’s all just over because it makes me get too stressed.”
In the weeks leading up to the live tour, Peggy has been catching up with Noel and Liam, and she was on holiday in South France with Liam and his partner Debbie earlier that year while Liam was resting vocally. Liam stated in a statement to the Sunday Times that Peggy and all of her sisters and brothers make up the majority of Liam’s output.
