Nurse in Australia charged over video about killing Israelis

A nurse in Australia has been accused of making death threats and other crimes after a video that purports to show hospital staff hysterically killing and refusing to treat Israeli patients.
A 26-year-old woman was charged with three counts of assault by New South Wales Police, including using a carriage service to threaten to kill and using a weapon to threaten to kill a group.
NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb said the woman, named in local media as Sarah Abu Lebdeh, was prohibited from leaving Australia or using social media as part of “very, very strict” bail conditions.
According to Webb, the woman is scheduled to appear in court on March 19 in Sydney.
The announcement comes after footage of two Sydney hospital staff boasting about harming Israeli patients went viral earlier this month, causing widespread outcry.
allegedly told the influencer that she would “kill” Israelis who needed medical attention in an online video chat that Israeli content creator Max Veifer shared with the influencer.
A male hospital employee also appeared in the video claiming to have sent numerous Israeli patients to “Jahannam,” the Arabic word for hell.
The man, identified in local reports as Ahmad Rashad Nadir, has not been charged over the incident.
Health authorities have banned the two hospital staff from working in healthcare “in any context” over the incident, which Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese labelled “disgusting, sickening and shameful”.
No patient-related adverse effects have been found, according to health officials.
In recent months, Australia has experienced a number of anti-Semitic incidents, including several arson attacks on synagogues and an alleged bomb plot.
