The music industry is tough, and many artists are clamoring for more support, it’s no secret.
However, a number of well-known musicians frequently leave the spotlight and choose a more country-lifestyle lifestyle, with some choosing the countryside and others choosing locations like Ibiza.
Fans frequently follow their favorite artists on social media to follow up on their most recent endeavors, so we did some digging on some of the biggest names in music from the 1990s through the noughties.
Some artists have returned to the music industry, while others have taken their places and started new ventures. Five stars have previously left the industry for various reasons, including bankruptcy, deportation, chart failures, and starting families.
Jenny Frost
Jenny Frost, who was born in Wallasey and became famous as a member of the chart-topping Atomic Kitten, replaced Kerry Katona when she left the band after marrying Westlife’s Brian McFadden. Although Frost and Kerry reunited in 2012, they decided against watching The Big Reunion on ITV.

Jodi Albert
After deciding against signing the Spice Girls, Jodi Albert first gained notoriety in 1998 as a member of the waning girl band Girl Thing. Natasha Bedingfield
Natasha Bedingfield, a chart-topping singer, is well-known for her acclaimed smash hits Unwritten and These Words, which were a hit in the 2000s and frequently co-edited with her brother Daniel. Natasha, 40, was never able to capture a trophy from these prestigious ceremonies despite receiving numerous nominations, including five BRIT Awards and one Grammy.
Although her first album, NB, which was released in 2007, failed to maintain that momentum, her initial songs had great success. Natasha and Daniel made waves on The X Factor New Zealand, even in this capacity.

The Cheeky Girls
After their unforgettable audition on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, Gabriela and Monica, better known as The Cheeky Girls, were thrust into the limelight. Granada Ventures secured the twins a record deal with Multiply, a subsidiary of Telstar Records, despite being called the worst act to audition by judges Louis Walsh and Pete Waterman.
The Romanian duo’s hit single Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) quickly soared to number two on the charts in the first week of December that year. For five weeks, four of which were spent at number two, it remained in the top five.
However, by the year 2006, it was reported that the sisters had reached “rock bottom” and were facing bankruptcy after not receiving payment from their record label, which had stopped trading. The singers allegedly owed money, among other things, to an Evening Standard article, totaling £4,500 in unpaid taxes. Telstar reportedly owed them $ 2.2 million, but it was later clarified that the total was $ 130, 000.
Gabriela’s relationship with former Lib Dem MP Lembit Opik in 2006 garnered media attention. When the singers faced deportation to Romania, it was claimed that he gave the singers’ constituency MP documentation. Three months after the announcement, the couple rekindled their relationship.
Danny Cipriani and Monica once had a fling. The twins, 39, were first to attempt Britain’s Got Talent with a Bollywood dance routine that won over the judges in 2010. They managed to dance their way into the next round of the competition despite Simon Cowell’s cheeky observation that “you are definitely better dancers than you are singers.”
The Cheeky Girls continue to appear in public at club and day party events and update their fans on their shared Instagram page.
