Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, a media personality and entrepreneur, has examined her career path and the motivations behind her business ventures.
The Morning Brief, a flagship program on Channels Television, featured the entrepreneur, better known as Gbemi O-O.
Before moving to radio, Gbemi O-O recalled her early years in broadcasting, beginning with a stint at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), a position she would hold as a star witness in Nigeria’s media landscape.
She revealed her desire to diversify her income sources in response to a pressing need to make ends meet. She co-founded a film production company after making this choice, which she proudly acknowledged had gained success on the international stage.

Tosin Bucknor, a multi-talented figure known for her work as an actor, lawyer, writer, on-air personality, and entrepreneur, is one of her many influences, she said, “I’m just trying to do as much as I can while I’m still here.”
The mother of a four-year-old daughter says she believes in unlimited potential and how she manages her family and career.
You just have to apply yourself, she said, “There is nothing you can do.”
She also narrated her first foray into the fashion sector, revealing that she spent every penny on the 2014 launch of her shoe company in Oniru, Lagos.
Gbemi-O read a news bulletin live on air in a humorous way during the interview, which nods to her earlier aspirations to work as a newscaster for Channels Television.
