
Yahaya Inuwa, the governor of Gombe State, stated on Tuesday that the North would support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
He made this comment at a two-day conference in Kaduna State to evaluate President Tinubu’s administration’s performance, particularly given how it affects the region’s socio-economic well-being.
He claimed that Tinubu’s support for the 2023 election has already led to tangible outcomes in the fields of power, security, agriculture, and infrastructure.

Participants from the Federal Capital Territory and the 19 Northern states are invited to the two-day interactive session with the theme “Assessing electoral promises: fostering government-citizens engagement for national unity.”
The interactive session is a continuation of the North’s tradition of constructive dialogue with successive administrations to assess the progress made by the Tinubu administration in the last two years, according to Dr. Abubakar Umar, director-general of the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation.
