Oasis have been accused of being so “about the money” that even their dedicated crew couldn’t receive free tickets to their upcoming reunion tour.

Rock star brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have reportedly refused to give out free tickets to their upcoming reunion tour gigs to their team working behind the scenes.

Friends and family gig tickets are usually handed out to the hard-working crew, who will be away for months while Oasis tour the UK, before playing a string of global dates around the world. It’s standard in the industry and seen as a perk of the job.

However, the band, who are expected to make up to $600 million from the tour, including up to $ 50 million for Noel and Liam, have been accused of being “all about the money,” and even close friends and industry colleagues have been said to have been turned away without a free ticket.

Instead, it is claimed that they received a code for accessing a special website and a link to a ticket. They were still expected to pay the basic face value, which was at least £148 per pop, despite their deviating from the queue. Crew members, many of whom have collaborated with significant artists over the years, are said to be “fuming” by the stingy move. According to one source, “they’ve never seen anything like it.”

The source told the Mail: “The crew will be travelling around the country with the band, setting up the venues, and will be on hand throughout the concerts in case they are needed. They’ll be away from their family and are usually given tickets to invite them down to join them at one of the shows.

However, the Gallagher brothers have outlawed the distribution of free tickets. The entire crew is irate. They have never seen anything like it on a tour that they have done with other famous musicians. Oasis seem to be trying their hardest to make the most money possible. Is it really all about the money, or is it just about the fans?

Revealing “a lot of industry people are pretty stunned,” the source continued, “These are people who have never seen anything like it, and they have known the band for years, in some cases, or worked in and around them directly.” Oasis are making millions, and they seem to be unable to spare a few tickets for those who have treated them poorly. It doesn’t feel very rock and roll to rinse everyone out of every penny. It’s undoubtedly different from the Nineties.

Some fans ended up paying far too much for Oasis tickets as a result of the Ticketmaster website’s “dynamic pricing” system, which the band later claimed they were unaware of.

A standard seat costing £148 more than it did by the time they reached the checkout, and VIP packages were being offered for upwards of £500.

Dynamic pricing raises the cost of the most popular tickets, but Ticketmaster later claimed they didn’t and Oasis claimed in a statement that they “do not make decisions about ticketing and pricing” at the discretion of their promoters and management.

It’s been reported that the band reportedly struck an “astretched unprecedented” deal to receive a 30% share of the venue’s revenue. Drinks, food, and merchandise are included.

The band will also make a profit from Oasis’ clothing deal with Adidas, selling T-shirts for £100 and jackets for £100. Items have already been sold out online and will be sold to fans at concerts as well.

One insider claimed ‘if they could could monetise breathing the air in the stadium, they probably would.’ The Mirror has approached reps for Oasis for further comment on this story.
