When refereeing decisions are made against them, Ange Postecoglou asserts that “there is never no noise” surrounding Tottenham.

Rodrigo Muniz and Ryan Sessegnon scored for Fulham to defeat Spurs 2-0 at Craven Cottage on Sunday, prompting the Australian head coach to speak.

Postecoglou responded to a question about a contentious Calvin Bassey challenge on Lucas Bergvall inside the penalty area in the 85th minute, saying: “I’ll leave that to the officials, but I’ll say that we don’t carry on like a lot of other clubs and I think that hurts us for sure.

I don’t believe there ever is any noise or decision-making around us. There are national headlines for a week after one that is slightly in our favor.

When the midfielder avoided a second yellow card, he appeared to be referring to a decision made in Bergvall’s favor against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.

Bissouma claims he can let the game take over.

At half-time against Fulham, Postecoglou sent on Bergvall and Son Heung-min, beating the sluggish Yves Bissouma and Brennan Johnson.

Bissouma was fired as a result of his poor performance, according to the Spurs manager, who stated, “I just feel Biss can sometimes let the game drift by him.

He needs to play a little more dominant with his passing. We needed more in that position at times, and I sometimes believe the game gets away from him.

He didn’t play much, so I needed him to play. You must perform at the same time. Biss and a few others, to be honest, probably lack a little confidence.

He says, “But we’re at the point of the season where we need guys to go out there and put those things to one side and perform.”

Postecoglou continued, “It’s not about putting an end to him or putting in effort.”

I just believe that sometimes players experience spells that require him to overcome, and we must find a way to do that.

After capturing just 10 points from their past 10 games, it is becoming improbable for the 13th-placed Spurs to reach Europe via the Premier League.

Spurs, however, needed to win the Europa League, and they did so by defeating AZ Alkmaar on Thursday to advance to the quarter-finals.

Spurs must not waste their final nine Premier League games, according to Postecoglou, who has received harsh criticism for the domestic issues this season.

He said, “I told the players that I would not allow anyone to think anything but about Europa.”
