Femi Soneye, the spokesperson for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), resigned.
Soneye resigned on Saturday, according to a personal statement that said his resignation would allow him to concentrate on his personal business.

I’m pleased to let you know that I have left NNPC Ltd.’s position as its chief corporate communications officer.
I’ll be able to devote more time to my family and take on my personal obligations, which now call for my closer observation.
