The weather forecast for Monday, December 29th, 2025 through Wednesday, according to the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet). It will be sunny and cloudy.
On Sunday in Abuja, the weather agency released the forecast.
The Central region is expected to experience mostly sunny skies with a few patches of cloud in the morning, according to NiMet, while the afternoon and evening are expected to experience mostly cloudy skies with some cloud patches.
According to the forecast, “Sunny skies with patches of cloud are anticipated throughout the Southern region, with the potential for isolated thunderstorms accompanied by light rainfall over parts of Lagos, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, southern Ondo, and southern Edo States in the morning.”
In the afternoon, isolated thunderstorms with light rainfall are forecast for parts of Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo, Delta, Ondo, Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Imo, Abia, and Anambra States.
Northern regions are anticipated to have sunny skies in the morning, while the region’s weather is predicted to be mostly sunny in the afternoon and evening.

Additionally, drivers are advised to drive cautiously because the roads may be slick and with less visibility.
However, it stated that travel plans and outdoor activities should be changed to suit the current weather.
