In a lengthy statement, the 26-year-old said he does not want to reconcile with his parents and accused them of being controlling. Victoria and David Beckham have yet to issue a response, but according to reports, the pair are said to be floored by his remarks.
Fans noticed that Nicola’s TikTok account had liked a number of comments criticizing his parents before Brooklyn made the statement. “I’m glad Brooklyn was able to join such a nice family,” one comment read.
No one knows what happens behind closed doors, a second TikTok user wrote. Brooklyn obviously doesn’t communicate with his parents for a reason.

With Brooklyn clarifying that he no longer wants contact with his family, Jenna also believes this decision could potentially strengthen his marriage.
A marriage is put under a lot of strain when there is chronic stress caused by dynamics with the extended family, she explained.
Establishing clear boundaries can promote a couple’s sense of unity, lessen external pressure, and restore stability.

Additionally, the oldest Beckham child accused his mother of “hijacking” the couple’s wedding reception and rescheduling Nicola’s dress quickly.
Since then, the couple has since renewed their engagement photos without inviting Brooklyn’s immediate family.
He continued, “We wanted to renew our vows so that we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment,” explaining the decision.
