In a bombshell statement, Brooklyn Beckham attacked his parents David and Victoria Beckham and defended his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham.

Nicola Peltz Beckham eye-opening social media activity in the lead-up to her husband’s explosive statement about his family has come to light. Last night, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham broke his silence on the family feud that has dominated headlines for several months.

In a lengthy statement, the 26-year-old said he does not want to reconcile with his parents and accused them of being controlling. Victoria and David Beckham have yet to issue a response, but according to reports, the pair are said to be floored by his remarks.

Fans noticed that Nicola’s TikTok account had liked a number of comments criticizing his parents before Brooklyn made the statement. “I’m glad Brooklyn was able to join such a nice family,” one comment read.

No one knows what happens behind closed doors, a second TikTok user wrote. Brooklyn obviously doesn’t communicate with his parents for a reason.

“No child would ever choose to cut off their parents without good reason.” In a further telling move, Brooklyn’s wife of four years has deleted all traces of the Beckhams from her Instagram page.

A therapist believes that the actress’ response to the social media posts may have “escalated” tension.

According to Jenna Budreau-Roman, PsyD, the founder of Love and Theory and a licensed clinical psychologist, social media behavior has a tendency to amplify conflict rather than to resolve it.

Even the utmost subtle actions, like liking posts, can be taken as taking sides or escalating tension, especially when the public is in the dark and the situation is already at risk. Compared to public signaling, private processing is much more conducive to repair.

With Brooklyn clarifying that he no longer wants contact with his family, Jenna also believes this decision could potentially strengthen his marriage.

A marriage is put under a lot of strain when there is chronic stress caused by dynamics with the extended family, she explained.

Establishing clear boundaries can promote a couple’s sense of unity, lessen external pressure, and restore stability.

It is merely a temporary means of protecting the marital system, not an end in itself.

No matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one, Brooklyn accuses Victoria and David, who have three other children, of consistently “disrespecting Nicola.”

Brooklyn added in his statement: “I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. “For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.”

Additionally, the oldest Beckham child accused his mother of “hijacking” the couple’s wedding reception and rescheduling Nicola’s dress quickly.

Since then, the couple has since renewed their engagement photos without inviting Brooklyn’s immediate family.

He continued, “We wanted to renew our vows so that we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment,” explaining the decision.
