Nala, Nicola Peltz’s rescue dog, had been a member of her family for nine years prior to her passing. According to Nicola, the dog breed typically lived until 14 to 16 but died later as a result of “groomer’s abuse.”
Nicola Peltz will reportedly be questioned in court over her dog’s death after her former groomer denied any wrongdoing in her lawsuit. It comes as Nicola is at the centre of a huge family feud with her husband, Brooklyn Beckham’s immediate family, mainly David and Victoria Beckham.
Recently, there has been a growing rift between the Beckhams, with sources close to the couple claiming that Nicola has been “isolating” Brooklyn from his family and friends. Brooklyn reportedly supported his wife by saying he would “always” choose her in an Instagram post, despite the family’s continued silence on the matter.

After a New York judge ordered the 30-year-old to appear in court for a deposition before October 30th, Nicola reportedly has to go to court over her dog’s death.
She will also need to authorize the release of medical records, including the necropsy reports, related to her Chihuahua Nala’s death, according to court documents obtained by InTouch.
Nicola filed a lawsuit against the dog grooming business HoundSpa, its owner, Deborah Gittleman, and Jony Ceballos, a groomer. She claimed that they were to blame for the pooch’s death.
Nala was a rescue and had been Nicola’s family for nine years prior to her passing. According to Nicola, the dog breed typically survives to the age of 14 to 16 before passing away from “groomer’s abuse” later.
She requested that Jony not be used on her animals because her family had problems with him because she wanted him to be a groomer. She claimed, however, that he was sent to her house to groom five of her dogs in June of this year.
The defendants’ claims included that Nala entered the grooming van, which was a happy, healthy dog, but that she returned injured and in severe physical distress, wheezing heavily and having a chest pulsating. Poor Nala was suffering, so Nicola took her to the nearby veterinarian, who was a fifteen-minute drive away.
Nala’s tongue was blue, her lungs were fluidy, and she had neurological damage, according to the vet. Nicola, who afflicted her dog with distress and emotion, gave her a breath and gave her care.
Nicola’s attorneys also asserted that “Nala tragically passed away two hours after being in the van with the groomer, “before Jony failed to” properly care for her.”
The actress claimed that all the money will go to a dog rescue organization and that no specific damages will be demanded. Houndspa and its owner have refuted every allegation.
Earlier this month, Nicola stated in a statement to the media that she was devastated by her baby’s sudden death. “I am] in so much shock and pain.
