Nick Knowles’ wife, Katie Dadzie, has shared a new health update after she underwent a hysterectomy, just weeks after the couple tied the knot.

After dating for four years, Katie, 35, and TV star Nick, 62, got married in an intimate ceremony in Essex last month. Katie made it known that she was having personal health issues just a few weeks after their wedding.

After having endometriosis, polycystic ovaries syndrome (PCOS), and adenomyosis, she revealed in early July that she had undergone major surgery. The founder of Boa Boa lingerie, who has two children from a previous relationship, revealed details of her health struggles and highlighted the conditions she was infected with.

It comes after Katie was forced to hit back at cruel trolls who labelled her ‘desperate’ after she posted a racy snap.

Endometriosis is characterized as a condition where “cells similar to those in the womb (uterus) grow in other parts of the body,” according to the NHS, which describes it as “a common condition that affects how a woman’s ovaries work.” There are treatments that can help, but it can have a significant impact on your life.

Katie posted video clips of herself in a hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown, and sharing her depressing health news. When the surgeon entered her body to remove her uterus, the footage revealed several bandages on her abdomen.

Katie described her story in a direct and personal statement alongside the video clips, writing, “I just had a hysterectomy.” Since Moses wore short pants, she continued, “I’ve lived with pcos, endometriosis, and adenomyosis.”

She continued, “No, it wasn’t just a bad period.” It involved frequent hospital visits. multiple laparoscopies smudging clothing. avoiding suffering. missing out on life by curled up in bed.

She described her condition as having “extreme bloating that made me look pregnant.” My legs felt stifling, butty, and stomach pains, and I had migraines. Chronic fatigue was the culprit. It was crying over yet another disastrous day hiding in lockers. My daughters were afraid to get their periods if they ended up like mummy. Years of misdiagnosis and being sucked in. advised to use painkillers. that it was “normal.” It wasn’t. “

Katie continued, “I’ve cried on bathroom floors,” to describe the emotional strain her condition had on her. In public, I’ve bled through my clothes. I’ve undergone three surgeries. I’ve tried every pill, every patch, and every hormone adjustment. To get through university, I’ve been on a medical menopause. And the pain continued to mount.

Six weeks after having her surgery, Katie told her fans that she still feels like she’s “absolute s***” and that she has “gained a stone in six weeks” during her recovery from the hysterectomy.

The womb is removed during a hysterectomy, which may also involve the removal of other organs, such as the ovaries.

Opening up in her honest post, Katie said that she is still struggling every day. “I keep getting messages saying, “Wow, you’re out already, you look amazing, you’ve bounced back so fast.” But honestly? It’s absolute Instagram propaganda.

“I don’t recognize myself at all right now,” the truth is. My body seems completely foreign. In six weeks, I’ve put on a stone, have bloated constantly, have a sore and enlarged face, and have dry skin and hair. I detest my reflection because it seems like a total stranger is looking at it.

Katie continued, “As an added bonus, I can’t even exercise to improve my mood.” Due to the pain and bleeding, my doctor has advised me to have no baths or gym for a further month. Four more weeks of being trapped in this body, which I can’t get out of, and have no other way to feel like myself. I feel trapped waiting for permission to proceed.

The symptoms are endless: brain fog, mid-sentence forgetting names, going to the wrong theater, snapping at people I love because I’m constantly so up and down. The utterly unbearable hot flushes, the 2, 3 &amp, 4 a.m. wake-ups, terrible back pain, and exhaustion that shiver in my bones are just some examples. And I’m angry, anxious, and mentally ill.

Nick’s new wife continued to state that she has been struggling every day behind closed doors despite having been fully dressed up for roles on ITV’s Lorraine and the Global Champions Arabians Tour.

Yes, I can wear lipstick, a dress, and pose for a photo, but it’s all about the mirrors. She confessed, “Behind it, I feel like absolute s***.”

“I’m sharing this because I don’t want anyone looking through their feed to think they’re failing because I don’t seem to be “bouncing back” like I do.” I’m not. I’m swollen, sore, puffy, heavier, grumpy, anxious, and lost in a body I don’t know or like.

You’re not alone if you’re struggling, whether it’s with recovery, hormones, or just getting through the day. The highlight reel will appear on Instagram. For real, though? Mostly, it’s fake news.

Katie, who has two daughters from a previous relationship, previously stated that having surgery would prevent her from having any additional children with Nick.

She later admitted that she didn’t want more children because she and her daughters are everything. That doesn’t, however, make this simple. since I’ve been made a decision. Additionally, there is real grief. Other than having a uterus, I feel like something about me has changed.
