Nick Knowles and his new wife Katie attended Royal Ascot, where she donned a dress that resembled her wedding gown.
Newlyweds Nick Knowles and wife Katie packed on the PDA as they enjoyed their first public outing as a married couple on Friday. The DIY SOS presenter, 62, and his new spouse, 34, were all smiles as they shared a smooch at day four of Royal Ascot.
Nick Knowles and Katie tied the knot in a lavish six-figure ceremony at the start of June after being together for over four years. The happy couple first crossed paths back in 2019 and made their relationship official two years later in 2021.
Basking in their newlywed bliss, Strictly Come Dancing star Nick and Katie looked dapper as they joined race goers and celebrities like Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo at the jewel in the crown of the UK racing calendar.
At the star-studded event, Katie planted a smacker on her new husband while sporting a blue and white frock that sported a strikingly similar wedding dress.
She flashed a radiant smile for the camera while finishing off her look with a chic navy hat and elevated her stature with strappy nude heels.
As the couple showed they were still very much on their honeymoon, Nick looked dapper in a light blue silk waistcoat and a black suit.
According to reports, the event cost upwards of $6,000 for Nick and Katie’s special day. Nick donned a light pink tuxedo jacket, black pants, and a matching black bow tie to complete the look. A purple flower was adorning his lapel to complete his look.
Katie meanwhile donned a traditional wedding gown to make a statement. She chose a white gown with blue flowers instead of the typical all-white dress. She chose full-glam bridal makeup and elegantly styled her hair in a bun. She paired a long veil with a statement necklace and a long veil to complete her look.
The couple’s paths first reconnected in 2019 when Katie’s daughters and Eddie, Nick’s youngest son, met at a play center and became friends. Katie owns a business selling “lactation products for breastfeeding mothers,” along with her lingerie and sex toy business.
Nick and I made the proposal while we were in New Orleans two years ago. Prior to the wedding, Katie and her closest friends and family have been huddled together in a hen-do surrounded by her closest friends and family.
Katie, who has two children and juggling motherhood, has to figure out how to justify the significant age difference between her and Nick. She’s not the first younger woman to be associated with the famous person, though.
During a West End show date in 2019, Nick was spotted snuggling up to 26-year-old PR guru Emily Hallinan. He dated marketing whiz Rebecca Kearns, who is alleged to be more than three decades his junior, the year before.
Post-breakup with Rebecca, Nick was snapped looking rather close with Emmerdale actress Gemma Oaten at the TV Choice Awards in September 2016.
However, the photos signaled the pair’s relationship, with Gemma describing the incident as “a Sunday morning when we were lying in bed and all these texts about us being photographed together came through.” He completely changed in a matter of seconds. He and how his family would be affected by this was the focus. He claimed it didn’t matter to me, but it was really cruel. I experienced sneezing.
She continued, “I asked, Do you want to throw away what we have?” Nothing has been done improperly. But he just dropped me like a ton of bricks. I believed he had a true relationship with him, and he had no desire to reveal anything.
