After a heartfelt farewell, Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly both sat down to sleep. To celebrate their defining performance, friends, families, and coworkers joined the legendary duo.
Tess Daly, Claudia Winkleman, and the rest of the Strictly Come Dancing crew celebrated their wrap party until early in the morning with an emotional night.
The presenting duo were photographed leaving the show looking worn-out but happy after a celebration with the cast, crew, and judges. This marked the end of a beloved BBC series.
After a heartfelt performance, Tess was spotted smiling sneezily from a back seat of a car, clearly worn out. While Clovisa closed her eyes in several snaps, she appeared to be barely able to keep her eyes open.
Vernon Kay, Tess’ husband, and their daughter Phoebe, who were also seen leaving the party, were also seen driving alongside Strictly 2025 cast members. After watching Tess host her final ever episode, Vernon looked proud of himself.
As they left, professional dancers were also in high spirits. While head judge Shirley Ballas flashed peace signs, Vito Coppola and Nadiya Bychkova waved ferociously to the photographers and Anton Du Beke was spotted soberly taking on driving duties.
During the live final, earlier in the day, the emotional tone of the night had already been set. After receiving an unanticipated tribute from Anton, who emailed her directly while giving feedback on Karen Carney and Carlos Gu’s routine, Tess was reduced to tears.
He continued, “I have to say this as well; I can’t tell you how loved I have been to you for the past 21 years.” You are my love.
As the audience applauded, Karen and Carlos intervened to comfort Tess completely off guard. As they attempted to keep it together, Shirley Ballas clinging to Anton while Motsi Mabuse wiping away tears.

Since Kirsty arrived in Walford 13 years ago and ruined Christmas Day for the Brannings, it has been 13 years.
Between 2012 and 2014, actress Kierston Wareing played Kirsty Branning in EastEnders and was revealed as Max Branning’s (Jake Wood) secret wife on Christmas Day 2012.
In typical soap opera form, Kirsty’s role as Max’s secret and Tanya Branning’s (Jo Joyner) plot sparked drama and attempted to eject Kirsty from Walford permanently led to drama.
But Kirsty stayed in the Square long enough to fake a pregnancy, kick-start an affair with Carl White (Daniel Coonan), and even try to win back Max’s affections.
Kirsty, of course, failed to bring any renewed romance to life, so she left the Square in Max’s car in January 2014, removing her engagement ring and signing the divorce papers.
Following her EastEnders exit, Kierston, now 49, landed a role on rival Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks as drug dealer Ashley Davidson, who was murdered by serial killer Lindsey Butterfield (Sophie Austin).
She has also appeared in a long list of other popular dramas, including Strike, Scott & Bailey with Suranne Jones, and Netflix hit Top Boy.
Additionally, Kierston has appeared in films like Punch (2023), I Love My Mum (2018), and Do Not Disturb (2016).
The former soap star most recently appears in The Death of Bunny Munro as Pamela Stocks. Matt Smith portrays the sex-addicted salesman in the Sky Original series, which was released in November 2025.
Posting a trailer of the series to her official Instagram post, Kieston wrote: “Watch me get it on with Matt Smith. Starting 20th November 2025 on Sky. Directed by @isabellaeklof.”
Kierston runs her own online business and enjoys vintage fashion and antiques in addition to acting.
Following her EastEnders exit, Kieston spoke to The Mirror and branded her soap storyline as “ridiculous” after she was introduced as Max’s “shotgun” wife, Kirsty.

She later stated, “I didn’t believe in any of the storylines. More of a range was what I wanted. Why would Kirsty continue to pursue Max when he had a ton of baggage, it wasn’t plausible? It’s completely absurd.
By the time it was finished, she was completely wet. There were layers to the show when I first started watching it: “Is she nice? ” She’s not nice, isn’t she? ‘. All of these ideas were mine. No one wanted to do anything like that, despite my desire for it to be extremely gritty.

The BBC says it has no future projects planned with David Walliams. The former Britain’s Got Talent judge, 54, has also been cut loose by HarperCollins, which announced it would no longer publish any new books by the children’s author. Walliams is still set to appear on BBC television over the Christmas period.
The BBC stated that the festive schedules would be unchanged, but it also stated that there would be no upcoming collaborations. No projects involving David Walliams will be on the horizon, according to a spokesperson.
Walliams has firmly refuted any allegations of wrongdoing and is reportedly seeking legal counsel. A spokesperson told PA in a statement that David had never been informed of any allegations that HarperCollins have made of him. He had no access to any inquiries or opportunities to respond to inquiries. David takes legal advice and vehemently denies that he has behaved inappropriately.
HarperCollins confirmed earlier that it had decided not to continue its working relationship with Walliams. A spokesperson told the Mirror: “After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams.”
Walliams was informed of the decision, the publisher added to The Telegraph’s report. The company also stated that it has procedures in place for reporting and investigating concerns and that it takes employee wellbeing seriously. We do not make any comments on internal issues in order to protect people’s privacy.
Walliams is still set to appear on BBC One on Boxing Day in a pre-recorded Christmas special of Would I Lie To You? However, the broadcaster has confirmed that two comedy Nazi salutes he performed “as part of a joke” will not be shown.
In the meantime, CBBC is scheduled to show movie adaptations of his books, including Mr. Stink and The Boy in the Dress.
Three years after Walliams left his position as a judge of Britain’s Got Talent, recent developments emerge. After a transcript of remarks he made about contestants during breaks during the filming, he abruptly left the show in November 2022.
Walliams’ comments included those made during the 2020 series, including one that called one contestant “a c**t” and the other that said, “she thinks you want f*** her, but you don’t.”
He said in a statement: “I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020. These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry.”

Walliams had been a regular on the judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon before being replaced by Strictly Come Dancing star Bruno Tonioli.
Beyond confirming that no future projects with the comedian and author are planned, the BBC has not made any further comments.
The newly formed boy band December 10 by Simon Cowell has already signed with a significant record label and released its first single. Turns out one of the members has already had two significant opportunities to become a TV musical star.

Although Nicolas Alves is a new addition to Simon Cowell’s newest boyband, December 10, it turns out this is not his first appearance on television. The 16-year-old singer and his six bandmates were scouted on Simon’s Netflix series The Next Act, and they just released the video for their debut song, Bye, Bye, Bye. The youngster is hopefully third time lucky.
Turns out that the 10-year-old teenager, who was born in England and moved to Portugal as a child, has already taken a number of roles in the media. He made it to the finals of The Voice Kids in Portugal in 2022, where the nation’s entry was announced as the winner of the country’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest that year.

After finishing as Maria Gil’s replacement for The Voice, he returned to his native country for the Junior Eurovision show and sang the song Anos 70 (also known as The Seventies). Out of the 16 competitors, he came in eighth place with a total of 121 points.
His brother, a cat named Ben and a dog named Rocky, are described as his children in his junior Eurovision website’s biography, and he enjoys playing guitar with his brothers and trying out new recipes.
“Amongst his favourite artists are Queen and Elvis Presley – so he should get on well with France’s Lissandro, who has similar tastes!”
With major performing experience already under his belt, Nicolas impressed Simon and his advisors on the Netflix talent hunt, The Next Act. The music mogul, 66, and his fellow panel of Pete Waterman, Savan Kotecha, and Kamille, described the teenager as “utterly joyful” and compared him to a young George Michael during his audition in London.
The youngster, who has a slight look of Harry Styles about him, told the experts, “’When it comes to music I am very serious. It’s what I want to do, it’s what I’ve always wanted to do. Of course you have to have fun with it, but to a certain degree it has to be taken seriously too.”
Hendrik Christoffersen, Cruz Lee-Ojo, John Fadare, Seán Hayden, Josh Olliver, 17, and Danny Bretherton, 16, made it in the band after a string of difficulties and studio training sessions in Los Angeles, where Simon lives.
The group – named December 10 after the day the reality series landed on Netflix – have already been signed by EMI/Universal, the label behind the likes of Lewis Capaldi and Justin Bieber, and their first offering is a cover version of NSYNC’s chart-topping Bye Bye Bye.
However, the newly formed septuplet’s name has not received well from everyone, so a Glasgow-based metal band called December Tenth has contacted anyone from “Simon’s team, Universal, or Netflix to get in touch with themselves and their” legal team.
Writing on social media, one member said, “Our social media accounts have blown up and we had no idea why. It turns out that Simon Cowell has released a new Netflix show, called ‘December 10’. We are now being inundated with well wishes from fans of the show thinking we are that band.”

Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva Price in Coronation Street on the ITV soap, has updated fans about her health by saying, “You need to be fit as a fiddle in our job.

After resuming to play on the soap recently, Catherine Tyldesley has revealed her secret health condition.
Coronation Street’s Catherine Tyldesley has lifted the lid on her secret health condition after her recent return to the soap. The mum-of-two, 41, who plays feisty Rovers Return landlady, Eva Price, rocked up in Weatherfield in October after a seven-year break from the show.
After leaving Corrie in 2018, Catherine was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2019 before going on tour with the BBC show. However, in a candid chat, she admits she’s been dealing with a health condition ever since as she revealed her hormones “kind of went a bit cuckoo”. Her extreme workload spiked her hormones and caused a reaction that led to fluctuations in her weight – so much so, she says she felt like she had “given birth without having a baby”.

Insisting she’s even more intent on prioritising her health now, she told The Sun: “Most of the time my hormones are fine, but after Strictly and doing the tour, they kind of went a bit cuckoo.
My oestrogen can occasionally be a little high. You have to be as fit as a fiddle in our job, given the hours we work and everything else.
Thankfully, Catherine can live full-time with her husband, Tom Pitfield, and their three children, Alfie, 10, and Iris, three, while living on Corrie.
After starring in The Good Ship Murder alongside Shayne Ward for Channel 5, Catherine made the revelations of her true identity as a working mother and actress.
She admitted in a shocking revelation that she could spend several days without speaking to her young children. It’s not uncommon for her to be far from the family for a long time, according to Catherine, who gained fame with Corrie.
Opening up about filming the popular crime show in Malta while her husband, Tom, stayed at home looking after the kids, she told the Mirror: “When I’m on set, being in Malta as much as I have been, a year-and-a-half in total if you join it all up; I’m OK, because it’s very fast paced.
My head is firmly in work mode, Corrie, and it’s a little like it was on her. I’m not myself, but I’m someone else. However, it’s silent when I return to that hotel in the evening.

Happily, Catherine is now back in Blighty and gearing up for a bombshell episode of Corrie next week. After just weeks back on the cobbles, feisty Eva has taken over the Rovers Return and is gearing up for an eventful Christmas Day…
