Dr. Hilary Jones, an illustrious ITV medical expert, has revealed how he will leave the network after 36 years of service as a result of workforce reductions that will see the number of employees cut in half.

Lorraine star Dr Hilary Jones has opened up about his departure from the hit ITV show after being on the air for 36 years. Hilary is leaving after it was announced that the morning offering is set to be cut to 30 minutes long from January.

It will air for just 30 weeks of the year as opposed to 52 because of the reduced schedule. The 72-year-old medical specialist has also admitted that he believes there won’t be any money for him to hold a leaving party.

He stated, “I’ll be a free agent until December 31 and then I’m still working there.” It breaks the monotony of being a presenter of a news program. I’ll probably return occasionally as a guest presenter.

He then went on to explain why the popular television program is changing, noting that many viewers are now having to leave. He added, “People are being very sensitive to the fact that some people are having to leave.”

Many people are being moved elsewhere or in the same position. Like everyone else, ITV must alter things. When asked if ITV would host a leave-of-placement party for those who are fired, he responded, “It would be lovely if they did, but we will wait and see on that one because money is tight.

“We will all be going out anyway, regardless of whether they pay or not, because there are some groups of us who feel like we’re a part of a family.” We’re very happy to put money in our pockets.

Hilary added that, while attending the Best Hero awards, “I think many saw changes coming, and I think people at work know where they are.”

As ITV Studios’ daytime operations attempt to recover their financial losses, the workforce will be reduced by half as a result of the changes. The network’s most recent financial results revealed a 30% decline in profits for the first half of this year.

Television presenter Lorraine Kelly opened up about the slashing of her show for the first time about the cuts, calling them “heartbreaking.” In addition, the actress pledged to continue producing her own self-titled program despite earlier rumors that she was departing.

Speaking to The Mirror she said, “I don’t see me going anywhere until people get fed up, you know? Until people say, I’ve had enough of that one. It’s really heartbreaking to split up the team, a lot of my team have been with me for more than 20 years and they’re my friends.

They have always been my parents. They had their first child with me when they first started out, and they now have their own. Lorraine said she was pleased that a significant portion of the team had since been redistributed to other programs.

She continued, “It’s been difficult, it’s been hard, with the cuts. Although it was completely focused on the team, I’m much happier about it now. For me, this was about the team, not me. I wasn’t enraged or annoyed.

Kane Scores Again As Bayern Beat Dortmund To Stay Top Of Bundesliga

Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at home on Saturday, marking their 11th victory from 11 games in all competitions this season. Harry Kane scored for the seventh straight game.

With 21 points from seven games this season, Bayern managed to stay five points clear of the top of the Bundesliga table thanks to the win.

“It was a big game,” he said. Kane, who scored his 104th goal for the champions, told reporters, “Dortmund were unbeaten for a while and we were too.”

“Those victories must be kept on track.” That’s how we’re faring so well.

Dortmund finished fourth, seven points adrift of Bayern, after the defeat.

Kane was named in the number 10 slot by Bayern coach Vincent Kompany, following Nicolas Jackson, who had just started for Chelsea.

In the first 10 minutes, Kane was quick to show off his creative prowess, threading passes for wingers Michael Olise and Luis Diaz, both of whom had excellent chances.

In the following 21 minutes, Kane scored his 400th goal at club level with a typical poacher’s goal from a corner.

The forward has now scored 19 goals for Bayern this season, including 12 league goals, in 11 of their 11 games this season.

Dortmund were better in the second half after the opening period’s one-way traffic and should have equaled when Bayern’s Serhou Guirassy teed up Karim Adeyemi, who slipped while attempting to shoot.

With 11 minutes left, Jobe Bellingham made a late substitution and hesitating in possession of his own box, hesitating Olise could score.

Kane claimed that he had spoken with his compatriot Bellingham about the error and that he had been told to “keep doing what you’re doing.”

The England captain continued, “He has a lot of potential.”

In the 84th minute, Dortmund put a stop to their late pressure, but Julian Brandt was able to convert a risky Julian Ryerson cross.

Kane stated to reporters following the victory that talks will take place about a contract extension with Bayern as his current contract expires at the end of the following season.

“There’s no hurry, but I believe things are going really well.” I’ve already expressed my happiness at Bayern.

Grimaldo at the double, and more.

As Bayern Leverkusen prepare to face reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain in an international match, Alex Grimaldo scored twice as they won 4-3 at Mainz, ending an eight-game unbeaten run.

Leverkusen moved up to fifth place in the table, on par with Dortmund, with the win.

Leverkusen took the lead 11 minutes after Grimaldo’s spot-kick, and Christian Kofane doubled their lead midway through the second half, finishing off a clever team move with a low shot into the bottom right corner.

On the 34th minute, Lee Jae-sung scored after Loic Bade’s clearance hit his own player.

Leverkusen pressurized Mainz for an error before half-time, and Jonas Hofmann won the penalty and scored Grimaldo for tap-in, his sixth goal in ten games.

Leverkusen were 4-2, but Martin Terrier’s strike three minutes prior set up a nervy ending with Armindo Sieb’s strike shortly after.

Leverkusen eventually hung on, finishing with the first goal in each of their seven matches this year.

We’ve started gaining some points, Hofmann told Sky after a bumpy start to the season.

We want to continue that momentum and establish our footing with our still-new coach, Kamal Hjulmand.

Erik ten Hag was replaced in early September by Dane Hjulmand.

Christoph Baumgartner scored both goals for RB Leipzig at home against promoted Hamburg, either side of Albert Sambi Lokonga’s strike.

Leipzig lost to Bayern 6-0 in their opening game of the season, but they have since improved significantly with five victories and a draw.

Stuttgart also won 3-0 at Wolfsburg to advance to third place, with goals coming from Germany duo Maximilian Mittelstaedt and Angelo Stiller, both of whom were former Wolfs Tiago Tomas.

Promoted Cologne lost 1-1 to Augsburg at home, while Werder Bremen equaled Heidenheim with a draw of 2-3.

Does dispute over return of Israeli captives’ remains threaten Gaza truce?

Mas claims that to remove corpses from the rubble, heavy machinery is required.

Within 72 hours of ratifying the ceasefire with Israel, Hamas agreed to release all of the Israeli prisoners, including the living and the dead.

18 bodies have not yet been handed over, and it has been more than a week.

The Palestinian organization wants the remains to be recovered using powerful machinery.

Israel claims that Hamas is dragging its feet, while Israel accuses Israel of purposefully halting the search.

Palestinians in Gaza are dependent on the return of Israel’s dead, in all likelihood.

In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Jannik Sinner won the lucrative Six Kings Slam, beating Carlos Alcaraz by a convincing margin.

Sinner won the US Open final 6-2, 6-4, and reclaimed his place as world number one by Alcaraz in the process.

With his victory, the Italian, 24, earned a reported $6m (£4.5m) – including $4.5m (£3.4m) in prize money, in addition to a $1.5m (£1.1m) participation fee.

Even though the pair split their previous four Grand Slam titles this year, Sinner was dominant right away against Alcaraz, who claimed he was “just too good” for his Saturday opponent.

Sinner broke Alcaraz’s serve in the opening match and quickly wrapped up the first set, the Spaniard being unable to challenge his team’s clinical serving.

After making the crucial breakthrough in the seventh game of the second set, he would win the exhibition event for the second consecutive year.

In his on-court interview, Sinner said, “I wish I could play like this everywhere.”

“We played a lot of, lots of games this season, and Carlos also lost a lot of games.” He and I have a lot of fun and honor to share the court.

You also need rivalries in the sport, and you want to improve as a player. It’s nice to have a strong rivalry and, more importantly, a strong friendship off the court.

At the three-day exhibition event in Saudi Arabia, which was streamed on Netflix, six of the world’s top men’s players squared off.

Saudi Arabia has been accused of using its sponsorship of high-profile events and sports to boost its reputation amid criticism for its human rights record.

The results of the exhibition event in Riyadh are not included in the official head-to-head records or the ATP rankings.

Alcaraz defeated Taylor Fritz in straight sets to reach the final, beating Novak Djokovic, who had earlier withdrew from his third-place play-off after losing to Fritz in the first set earlier on Saturday.

In the first few years of a burgeoning rivalry that has gripped the sport, Sinner and Alcaraz have won nine of the sport’s previous ten majors together. They also competed in each of the last three slam finals.

Jannik’s playing at this level is always challenging, according to Alcaraz, who said “he was just too good.”

“I’ve always said that when he plays such great tennis, it motivates me to go to the practice court, give it my all, and strive to improve.” He can be annoying at times, but he also gives me motivation.

Alcaraz continued, “A few times I wrote to him just to see how he’s doing or congratulate him on their relationship away from the court.” Off the court, we have a special relationship, which is wonderful.
