I used a blur primer first, two coats of this and an all night setting spray and wow!! I suddenly looked like an Insta or Tiktok girl. My 65-year-old skin looked awesome, I almost didn’t recognise myself. Best foundation I have bought and I have bought loads of brands which promise all sorts of things, but this delivers. If I could give it more stars, I would.”

Yet another admirer joins in, stating: “I’ve tried sooo many foundations and this has to be up there with one of the best. Full coverage but light. Looks so good, lasts all day.”

Today’s horoscope for May 16 as Taurus feels their patience wear thin

Today’s horoscope for May 16 sees one sign lose sight of their goals, as another can’t get a moment to themselves

Find out what’s written in the stars with our astrologer Russell Grant(Image: Daily Record/GettyImages)

It’s Friday, May 16, and one star sign deals with issues from colleagues, while another feels frustrated with changes.

There are 12 zodiac signs – Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces – and the horoscopes for each can give you the lowdown on what your future holds, be it in work, your love life, your friends and family or more.

These daily forecasts have been compiled by astrologer Russell Grant, who has been reading star signs for over 50 years. From Aries through to Pisces, here’s what today could bring for your horoscope – and what you can do to be prepared.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

You can’t seem to get a moment to yourself. Your mood is up and down and your thoughts are all over the place. You’re thinking about relationships, social events and outside responsibilities and you can’t help wondering how you fit everything in.

Taurus (Apr 21 – May 21)

A number of issues that arise early on will keep you on your toes. Working with a large group of people will be frustrating for a few different reasons. Differences in opinions cause arguments and tension. If you sense your patience is wearing thin, step outside and distance yourself from it all.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)

Disagreements behind the scenes will pull you away from your primary goals. One issue is that a person who loves to argue just can’t seem to hold back their opinions. If you can lose yourself in a personal task or hobby, you will find it easier to handle setbacks and challenges.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23)

You enjoy a little friendly rivalry but not when it gets to a point where someone is being dishonest and deceitful. The behaviour of a new colleague is making you more cautious than normal. When discussions turn to money, remember to keep friendships and finances separate.

Leo (July 24 – Aug 23)

You are among a growing group of people who are feeling frustrated by changes happening around you. The services you once depended on are being reduced. A local journalist is taking notice of a campaign which aims to improve your neighbourhood and enhance the quality of life for everyone.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sept 23)

An unexpected offer will be received and this will give you something exciting to anticipate. It will also make you feel slightly anxious but you are determined to look on the bright side. Your positive energy is contagious and as the day goes on, you will get closer to reaching a cherished goal.

Libra (Sept 24 – Oct 23)

You’ve always been generous and giving. It pleases you to give gifts as much as it pleases your family and friends to receive them. Even so, splashing out on an expensive item for a partner might backfire. It could come across, today, as if you are trying to buy their affection.

Scorpio (Oct 24 – Nov 22)

It doesn’t matter what other people think. You don’t need permission to do what you want to do. Let go of the need to please others and think about pleasing yourself. Arguments take it out of you emotionally. Take some time later to relax and recharge.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 – Dec 21)

A lot of your time will be focused on your personal and social goals, with a sprinkle of good fortune thrown in to keep it all enjoyable. There’ll be a spirit of cooperation in everything you do. Juggling multiple projects will ensure a bright and promising future.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 20)

Career matters are progressing well. You can expect to make advancement towards a professional goal even if at times you are sidetracked by fun activities. A surprise invitation will add some excitement to your off-duty hours. A playful romance will keep you entertained tonight.

Aquarius (Jan 21 – Feb 19)

After a long spell of focusing on other people, their needs and how to keep everyone happy, you’re ready to think about yourself. A new chapter is starting. You feel inspired to share your love of music and art with someone you love. You appreciate the joys of life’s finer experiences.

Princess Andre attended the ‘Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning’ premiere in London on Thursday night, appearing on the Leicester Square red carpet alongside her father Peter Andre and brother Junior Andre.

The 17-year-old daughter of Katie Price wowed the crowds in a red off-the-shoulder maxi dress, which she accessorised with layered necklaces, a charm bracelet, and multiple rings.

She complemented her jewellery with a silver clutch as she posed in front of photographers, just a day after posing for a picture with her new driving licence.

Princess chose to wear her hair straight and opted for a natural makeup look for the major Hollywood premiere.. Meanwhile Peter, 52, and brother Junior, 19, attended in classic black suits for the event, with the family taking pictures in front of a Mission Impossible prop plane before heading in to see the movie.

The Andres attended for what is set to be the last-ever Mission Impossible film, with ‘The Final Reckoning’ rolling out across UK cinemas on May 23. The blockbuster has been beset by lengthy, costly, delays.

Yet the film, which the Mail reports cost nearly $400 million to make, has also been met with widespread praise. Critics have described the action flick as “astonishing,” with one reviewer describing it as the “action film of the summer.”

Many have highly praised 62-year-old Tom Cruise’s typically high-intensity performance, which translates well in the expansive IMAX format, giving the star more space on screen to show off the film series’ usual insane stunts and action scenes.

Cruise is renowned for pulling off his own high-octane stunts in the Mission Impossible series, with the final instalment being no different. Despite being in his 60s, in one ‘Final Reckoning’ stunt the Hollywood star can be seen dangling from a helicopter, thousands of feet above the ground.

He then drops from the aircraft, falling backwards towards the earth.

Film critic Anthony Gagliardi heaped praise on the series’ final instalment, writing: Tom Cruise defies all odds with jaw-dropping action built only for Imax.

Seagrave targets elusive world title

Tahnee Seagrave has set her sights on winning the Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup series as well as the World Championships this season.

The new season gets under way on 16-18 May with the opening round of the World Cup in Bielsko-Biala, Poland.

In 2024 the 29-year-old had to settle for second at the World Cup and third at the World Championships.

The Llanfyllin-based rider, who has been racing at the top level for the past decade, has agonisingly missed out on securing gold, but hopes that will change this season.

“I’d love to win a World Champs, an elite World Champs title, I’ve never had that in my career,” she said.

“I’ve been so close to the overall title so many times and just missed out, so I’d love to be a little bit more consistent.

Seagrave came back to form last season, winning the World Cup round in Val di Sole, Italy, following a difficult few seasons after a serious concussion suffered in April 2022.

“Last year was a really good season for me. I didn’t really expect anything but I had this just low-level confidence that I knew that I could perform at my best,” Seagrave told BBC Sport Wales.

After clinching junior World Championship gold in 2013, she was tipped to dominate at the very top level, but one injury followed another, from broken bones and muscular tears to slipped discs in her neck, before concussion left her wondering whether she would ever race again.

“When I had my head trauma, it took a lot of mental work to come back to racing and I think that kind of changed my perspective on life and on racing,” she said.

“I really had to build a self-confidence and that just kept growing every day and the more I rode the more I gained confidence, I just shut all distractions out and I learnt a lot mentally.”

Seagrave also turned to sports psychologists and psychiatrists as “she did a lot of work to be able to feel confident”.

She has recently been busy testing a new bike at her mid-Wales base during the off-season after parting ways with her five-year association with bike brand Canyon and switching to Orbea.

Justin Bieber breaks silence on Diddy allegations amid sex trafficking trial

Chatter linked Justin Bieber to the explosive Sean Combs – P Diddy – trial, held as the rapper is accused of a string of depraved crimes, including racketeering conspiracy

Troubled singer Justin Bieber has insisted he was not targeted by rapper P Diddy.

Bieber, whose had four UK number ones, said widespread fears shared by fans he was a victim of the music mogul “detracts [focus] from the justice these victims rightfully deserve” in a statement released on Thursday. It came in response to speculation the singer, 31, may have been abused by Diddy during his early years in the music industry – although this is not an allegation for which the rapper stands trial.

A video of the pair resurfaced last year and was described by some Bieber fans as “disturbing”. It showed Combs and Bieber, who was a minor at the time, hanging out for “48 hours”. The pair also worked together on Diddy’s album The Love Album: Off the Grid, released in September 2023.

But the spokesperson for Bieber said in a statement, published by TMZ, reads: “Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.” Sources also informed TMZ on Thursday the Coming Home rapper never abused Bieber in any way.

The insiders stated the interactions in the video were simply “performative” – and explained Bieber was closer to the rapper’s sons rather than Combs, who is 24 years his senior.

Combs, who has won three Grammy Awards, was last year arrested in the state of New York on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, which he has denied. Bieber was reportedly “so disturbed by the Diddy news”.

A source told Mail Online at the time: “Bieber is so disturbed by the Diddy news and is unwilling to process it or discuss it so he has shut off… So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him. Justin hasn’t been responding on this since the home raids. He’s not going to. He was featured on Diddy’s most recent album, and had he known any of this, there is no way he would have done it.”

The arrest came just one year after The Love Album: Off the Grid was released. It quickly became Diddy’s fifth top ten on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

But now the 55-year-old star stands trial in New York City, accused of a number of charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. The father of seven denies each of these.

TV presenter Lorraine Kelly has shared a sweet message to the doctors involved in her emergency surgery and recovery.

The star has been recovering after having her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in a “purely preventative” surgery, leaving her followers sending their good wishes.

According to the NHS, the bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (BSO) operation is a common surgery that takes 40-60 minutes. It can help women with ovarian cysts in the perimenopausal age group manage pain or prevent the onset of ovarian cancer. Almost two weeks after her surgery, Lorraine took to Instagram to confirm her return to work.

Earlier this month, Lorraine took to her social media to a personal update with fans. She told followers: “Just wanted to let you know I’m having a wee procedure today. I’ve not been feeling all that well for a little while, so I had some scans and tests, and I have to have my ovaries and my tubes taken out.

“It’s purely preventative. It’s going to be with keyhole surgery, which is incredible. I’m being very well looked after, and I’ll obviously see you really soon, and I’m gonna be totally fine.” After a few days, the star told fans she was “recovering well,” as she celebrated a huge milestone for her ITV show.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the star penned: “Thanx for all your lovely messages I’m recovering well. So proud of my top team – punching above our weight and bucking the trend. Just heard our ratings are up – we had the highest March for four years. Thanks @vixkennedy and the gang! Always know how to cheer me up.”
