Reality TV star Katie Price has shared an update on her son Junior Andre’s relationship with his partner Jasmine Orr. The news from her comes after the couple celebrated their first anniversary together just a few weeks ago.

Junior, 19, and Jasmine, 24, began their relationship a year ago prior to making their red carpet debut as a couple last summer. It’s now been announced that they are moving in together, with his mother Katie, 46, telling fans that she has been helping Junior prepare for having his own place.

Katie shared the news on the latest episode of her podcast, the Katie Price Show, which was released earlier today. She also announced that her eldest son Harvey Price, 22, is moving home at the same time as his younger brother.

The I’m A Celebrity winner – who was married to Junior’s father Peter Andre, 52, between 2005 and 2009 – revealed that she had been shopping for her sons recently. Katie began: “Junior’s moving into his first place with Jasmine.”

Speaking about her eldest child, she added: “Harvey’s moving into his [new place] in October.” Katie continued by telling listeners during the newly-released episode of her podcast: “So I’ve got two of my eldest sons moving in.”

Singer Chris Brown was reportedly arrested at a hotel in Manchester over an alleged bottle attack from 2023.

The singer is said to have been arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning regarding the incident at a London nightclub. The arrest happened at just after 2am at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester.

It’s said Brown was held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm to music producer Abe Diaw at trendy Tape nightclub in Mayfair, Central London, in February 2023. The alleged arrest came a day after Brown had flown into the UK.

It’s said the arrest took place after it was discovered the star was in the country. Met detectives are said to have travelled to Manchester where they arrested him.

While police forces didn’t name Brown, they issued a statement on the arrest. Greater Manchester Police issued a statement on the Lowry Hotel arrest, saying: “This morning (Thursday 15 May) we arrested a 36-year-old man at a hotel in Manchester on suspicion of grievous bodily harm on behalf of the Metropolitan Police.”

A Met spokesman also said: “A 36-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Manchester shortly after 02:00hrs on Thursday, 15 May on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He has been taken into custody where he remains.

“The arrest relates to an incident at a venue in Hanover Square on 19 February 2023. The investigation is being led by detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit.’’

Mr Diaw claims Brown attacked him unprovoked while the star and his entourage were at a Dirty Martini club night held at the trendy Tape nightclub. He alleged the singer hit him over the head with a bottle and then punched and kicked him as he lay on the floor.

At the time following the alleged incident, Mr Diaw said: “He hit me over the head two or three times. My knee collapsed as well.”

Mr Diaw was taken to hospital and needed crutches to walk following his discharge. The alleged attack occurred while songwriter Brown was on a worldwide tour and playing in the UK.

Diaw launched a civil claim against Brown for $16 million (£12 million) in damages for injuries and losses suffered as a result of the alleged attack.

Brown was set to release another 10 British performance dates next month, but the tour could now be thrown into jeopardy due to the police investigation.

He previously announced his Breezy Bowl XX Tour to celebrate his 20 year career. During the tour, Brown was set to play gigs at the Co-Op Live stadium in Manchester. He was then expected to perform again at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff before a potential huge show at Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium in London. Gigs in Birmingham, Glasgow and Dublin were set to follow.

Flying Eagles Fall To South Africa In U-20 AFCON Semis

South Africa edged Flying Eagles of Nigeria 1-0 in a tense semi-final clash at the Suez Canal Stadium on Thursday to book a place in the final of the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

A well-taken header by Tylon Smith in the 66th minute proved decisive in a fiercely contested match between two of Africa’s traditional football powerhouses.

The result also ends Nigeria’s hopes of winning a record-extending eighth U-20 AFCON title.

The Flying Eagles were dominant for large spells in the second half, but were made to rue missed opportunities, particularly in the final moments when South African goalkeeper Fletcher Lowe produced a string of saves to deny Emmanuel Chukwu and Israel Ayuma.

The match began cautiously, with both sides probing without creating clear-cut chances.

Nigeria’s Tahir Maigana and South Africa’s Kutlwano Letlhaku both had early efforts saved in a first half that ended goalless despite Nigeria’s superior attacking numbers.

The breakthrough came just after the hour mark. Neo Rapoo whipped in a corner from the right, and Smith rose highest to power home a header into the centre of the goal — his first of the tournament and arguably the most important yet for the Amajita.

Nigeria responded with urgency, making double substitutions in the 65th minute to inject pace and fresh energy into the attack.

Rickson Mendos and Bidemi Amole nearly made instant impacts, with both going close in a series of intense late assaults on the South African goal.

Ayuma had two excellent chances to level, including a diving header that was brilliantly saved by Lowe.

But South Africa’s resolute defending and composed midfield play saw them through, stretching their unbeaten run at the Suez Canal Stadium to four games.

The win sees South Africa reach their second U-20 AFCON final, their first since 1997 when they finished as runners-up.

Hearts’ Shankland making ‘no promises’ on deal

Heart of Midlothian striker Lawrence Shankland says he is making “no promises” about his future as he ponders staying at the Scottish Premiership club.

The 29-year-old Scotland international is out of contract this summer and has recently been offered a new deal by the Tynecastle club.

However, the forward, who only has nine goals this term, revealed it is a decision he is still pondering.

“I don’t even know,” he told BBC Scotland. “I’ve got decisions to make and things to talk about in the summer.

There has been constant speculation regarding the striker after his scoring exploits last season, when he found the back of the net on 31 occasions for Hearts, with another two for Scotland added to the tally.

Speaking after Hearts’ 2-1 home win over St Johnstone on Wednesday, Shankland refused to confirm if there were offers on the table from other clubs.

“Possibly, that would be telling right now,” he said. “Whether or not, we’ll see, it’s still early.

“I’m still playing football at the minute as well. I’ve always been a professional throughout and I would always have that approach and be respectful of the club as well.”

Hearts are closing in on appointing Derek McInnes as their new head coach early next week.

Shankland worked with the current Kilmarnock manager when the pair were at Aberdeen, so would McInnes be one of those he would speak to before making a decision?

“Possibly, if that’s the case,” Shankland said. “I’m sure there’ll be a conversation to be had, of course. If I was considering staying at the club, I’ll speak to whoever the new manager is.

“We’ll see. I’m not promising anything to anyone at the minute.

Ukraine’s Zelenskyy sends delegation for Russia talks after Putin no-show

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he is sending a team headed by his defence minister to Istanbul for the first direct talks with a Russian delegation since the early weeks of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022.

Zelenskyy announced the move on Thursday after the Kremlin said Russian President Vladimir Putin had no intention to meet with him in Turkiye, sending instead a junior delegation – a move that Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said was “like a slap in the face”.

The Ukrainian president said in a news conference in the Turkish capital, Ankara, that the Russian delegation doesn’t include “anyone who actually makes decisions”, accusing Moscow of not making efforts to end the war.

The Ukrainian delegation will be headed by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov with the aim “to attempt at least the first steps toward de-escalation, the first steps toward ending the war – namely, a ceasefire”, he said.

It was not immediately clear when the delegations would meet.

Al Jazeera’s Sinem Koseoglu, reporting in front of the Ukrainian embassy in Ankara, said Zelenskyy chose a delegation “in equilibrium” with the Russian one.

“He said they didn’t mind taking the first step towards an immediate ceasefire that is necessary for direct peace talks,” she said.

Still, “there won’t be any negotiations, and Zelenskyy underlined that even his delegation has no mandate to decide anything. So tomorrow, it is probably going to be technical talks between the two delegations,” she added.

US President Trump, who had pressed for Putin and Zelenskyy to meet face-to-face in Istanbul, brushed off Putin’s absence from the talks.

“Nothing’s going to happen until Russian President Vladimir Putin and I get together, OK?” Trump said on board Air Force One just before landing in Dubai on the third stop of his Middle East trip. “I didn’t think it was possible for Putin to go if I’m not there.”

Putin’s absence punctured hopes of a breakthrough in ceasefire efforts that were given a push in recent months by the Trump administration and Western European leaders amid the intense manoeuvring. It also raised the prospect of intensified international sanctions on Russia that have been threatened by the West.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan earlier welcomed Zelenskyy with an honour guard at the presidential palace in Ankara before the two held talks.

“Now, after three years of immense suffering, there is finally a window of opportunity,” Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a NATO meeting taking place separately in Turkiye. “The talks … hopefully may open a new chapter.”
