Ozzy Osbourne, 76, passed away in July, causing a significant loss for the Osbourne family. Without the star, the family has celebrated their first Christmas together.

The Osbournes gathered together in matching pyjamas as they celebrated their first Christmas since the death of patriarch Ozzy. The family were left devastated in July when the music legend died at the age of 76 – just days after he performed a farewell concert with his band, Black Sabbath.

Kelly Osbourne’s 41-year-old daughter shared a collection of photos with her family on Christmas Day as they gathered to celebrate the occasion. Sharon Osbourne stood at the group photo and posed for a cheeky photo while smiling alongside her family.

The X Factor icon was dwarfed by the other family members around her, and stood proudly over Kelly who was sat on the floor in front of her alongside her son, Sidney, three, and her husband Sid Wilson, 48. The group were gathered by a decorated Christmas tree – and two of the pet dogs also featured in the set of family portraits.

Sharing the images on her Instagram, Kelly wrote a simple message, writing: “Merry Christmas from The Osbourne family!!!” The snaps drew attention from fans who were quick to wish the family well – and to share their understanding that it could be a hard first Christmas without Ozzy.

One typed in the message, “Merry Christmas everyone, have a wonderful time” While another wrote, “Thinking of y’all a lot today. Merry Christmas Osbourne family. Another fan expressed concern for the difficulty of this Christmas. Just let him know how much you loved him all. Heads high

Earlier this month, Kelly broke down in tears while discussing the loss of her father in an interview with the BBC. She appeared on screens having been handed the Lord Mayor’s Award, by Deputy Lord Mayor Ken Wood, on her father’s behalf. While talking to BBC Breakfast presenter Ben Sidwell, the star broke down in tears.

Kelly said: “He worked so hard to do what he wanted to do most in this world and that was perform one more time and then he was ready to go. He made a mark on this planet that will never be erased… It actually has been horrific. I’ve never ever felt anything like grief. I never realised that you could love someone so much.”

Kelly said, “He loved this city, he loved Birmingham, he loved Birmingham, he was a true Brummie through and through,” and that the special honor was given to him in Birmingham on what would have been his 77th birthday means a lot to us. And to be recognized in a way that is just, as I say, is incredible.

Fans’ concerns about Kelly’s small frame following the rock star’s passing also came out in this month. Sharon rebuffed criticism of her daughter’s weight loss, saying, “She can’t eat right now… because she’s lost her daddy.” She addressed the trolls by saying, “It’s a shield for unhappy people.” You see, there is a shield against jealousy and other people’s perceptions of someone else, and I just feel bad for them because, you see, there is something wrong with their lives. They aren’t content, they say.

While Jack Osbourne, 40, also opened up about the death of his father – having appeared on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! this winter. He shared, while in the jungle: “It was definitely a shock, I mean we knew he was sick for a while but it was definitely a shock, I mean we didn’t know it would be that quick…

He performed a massive, big show and said, “Alright, I’m done,” according to the legend. He would be so in favor of this … It’s been almost three months, so it’s still pretty fresh. I’m still trying to navigate it all.

Jack also acknowledged that there were times when he would work until he realized how sad his father’s passing made him feel. He said, “It’s strange, too, because like I… I felt like I had to, like, “I got… oh, I gotta, you know, make sure the family’s good,” which is how I felt. I need to take on some stuff, really. I need to try to steer the ship a little bit through this, you know what I mean.

“But it’s like having those moments in between when you need to do something or occupy, you know, this chaos with a task,” and when there isn’t, you feel like you’re going to slump, right? when you’re acting strangely and not acting in any particular way. But it’s a trip, yes.

Saintfiet Criticises FIFA, European Clubs Over Four-Year AFCON Plan

Tom Saintfiet, the head coach of Mali, criticized the decision to hold the Africa Cup of Nations every four years rather than every two, claiming that FIFA and European clubs were compelled to do so because of financial constraints.

“I’m very shocked and disappointed with it. The Belgian praised the best players in African football ahead of Friday’s AFCON match between Mali and Morocco in Rabat. “It is the pride of African football.

“To take it away and replace it every four years, I could understand if it was a request from Africa,” said one spokesman, “but it is all being ordered by the big players from (European governing body) UEFA, the big clubs in Europe, and also FIFA, and that is so sad.”

Saintfiet, 52, has oversaw numerous African national teams, including Gambia, who reached the 2022 Cup of Nations quarter-finals.

On Friday, Mali will take on the current AFCON opponents in a crucial Group A match at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium under the direction of Heine. He was appointed by Mali in August of last year.

Super Eagles of Nigeria Soar Past Tanzania To Start the 2025 AFCON Quest

Since its first edition in 1957, the Confederation of African Football (CNA) has almost always held the tournament twice annually, but Patrice Motsepe, president, announced last weekend that it would continue to take place every four years after a planned 2028 competition.

Because of financial demands from clubs that use the burden of players as an excuse to create a World Cup with 48 teams and a Champions League without no champions, Saintfiet said, “We fought for so long to be respected, to then listen to Europe to change your history.”

He made a joke that, “If you don’t get relegated in England, you almost end up in Europe.”

“You play the Champions League with only the champions if you want to protect players.” You don’t add more workload to your competitions. Then, you can still participate in AFCON every two years.

Because “Africa is the biggest football continent in the world,” I believe we disrespect it by visiting every four years because all of the world’s top footballers are African.

I regret that very much because I hoped that European pressure would be tempered by the love for Africa.

Infant among Palestinians wounded in attacks by Israeli settlers, soldiers

Five Israeli settlers have been detained for their alleged involvement in an Israeli baby’s alleged wounding at a Palestinian home in the occupied West Bank.

The infant was reportedly injured moderately to the face and head in the incident, which occurred late on Wednesday and involved “a group of armed settlers” who were throwing stones at homes and property in the town of Sair, north of Hebron.

According to Israeli police, five settlers were detained on Thursday after receiving reports of “stones being thrown toward a Palestinian home by Israeli civilians.”

Israeli settlements and outposts are Jewish-only communities constructed on Palestinian-occupied Palestinian land that are against international law. They can be found in a variety of sizes, from single-family homes to a number of high-rise buildings. According to the peace-focused Israeli organization Peace Now, about 700,000 settlers reside in East Jerusalem and live there.

In another West Bank incident, a 17-year-old boy was shot while dozens of Palestinians were inhaling tear gas during an Israeli army raid on the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, according to Wafa.

According to the report, “Israeli forces launched live bullets and tear gas canisters across the town’s neighborhoods.”

Following settler attacks, Israeli forces also detained three Palestinians in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Additionally, Israeli forces detained one resident in Masafer Yatta after they searched and vandalized their contents.

In the town of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, a Palestinian man was hurt in a settler attack.

AFCON Organisers Allowing Fans In For Free To Fill Empty Stands

A Confederation of African Football source told AFP that organizers at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco will allow fans to enter for free after kick-off in matches when there are no seats available.

In Agadir, the Group F game between Cameroon and Gabon took place on Wednesday in front of almost empty stands, but the ground significantly increased in the first half despite persistent rain.

Later, it was revealed that there were 35, 200 people inside a venue that could accommodate more than 45, 000.

Similar scenes have occurred at numerous matches in the competition’s opening days, some of which have even caused confusion about the actual attendance figures.

The initial count for the crowd at Rabat’s Al Medina Stadium on Tuesday was 6, 703, before being changed to 13, 073, which was the result of the game’s increase in capacity.

According to the CAF source, organizers agreed with the governing body of African football to set up stands about 20 minutes before the games to allow fans to gather outside without paying.

As Morocco prepares for the 2030 World Cup to be held jointly in the North African nation of Spain and Portugal, filling stadiums is a crucial issue for Cup of Nations organizers.

On Thursday, the official CAF ticketing website announced seats for almost all of the remaining group games for starting at 100 dirhams ($10).

Only Morocco’s games against Mali on Friday and Monday against Zambia on Monday, Algeria against Burkinabe on Sunday, and Algeria against Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday were the only ones that were flagged as sell-outs.

Tomos Williams, a scrumhalf from Wales, will join Saracens next year after leaving Gloucester at the end of the current campaign.

Williams has been a standout player for the Cherry and Whites since signing in 2024, winning the title in June and taking the Gloucester crown this year.

Gloucester’s Prem rivals confirmed on Christmas Day that he would be joining the London club in the summer, with their rivals earlier in December making that announcement public.

In a statement released on December 25th, Saracens stated, “Tomos is a player we have rated very highly for a long time, and we believe he will make an outstanding addition to our squad.”

We are very excited to see him pull on a Saracens shirt next season because he is a world-class operator.

Williams, 30, expressed his excitement at joining Saracens, a team he’s always admired.

Williams was chosen for the British and Irish Lions tour this summer, but he was forced to make a comeback after suffering a hamstring injury in the first game against Western Force on Australian soil after scoring two tries in a pre-tour warm-up match against Argentina.

His departure from Kingsholm will coincide with Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake joining the West Country Club from Ospreys in 2025-26.

Tomos Williams will leave Gloucester Rugby at the end of the 2025-26 season, according to a statement released on December 16.

Williams accepted a new contract to stay at Kingsholm after impressing at the club through the end of the season, but he instead chose to take up a new challenge elsewhere.

The Welshman will leave with the club’s best wishes when it arrives, but he will completely commit to ending his Gloucester Rugby career on a high.

Gloucester also made the announcement that 33-year-old former academy graduate Dan Robson will return to Kingsholm next season, ten years after his 2015 departure.
